General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread

I actually did the same thing at YCS Atlanta last year. I lost my first match and then went undefeated all the way through to the final round of day one, which I had to win to make day two, but alas, I lost.
Here's what happened in a recent duel on DN:

I had Armor Master and Hyper Librarian on the field, and I had Icarus Set; I was at 8000, and he was at 2800. Cards in hand were BLS and Kalut. He had White Paladin of Cursed Dragon, Pyramid Turtle and a set card.

I didn't want to take any risks, so on my turn, I used Icarus to get at his back row (Avarice) and Pyramid Turtle. Then I went into BLS, which led me to game. Joyful_3

Posting my build on the other thread.
My poker face has never let me down Smile
I've been actually thinking of making up my own deck for a while now. With YGO Card Maker.net or whatever it is. I had this idea where everything was at random, and most of the cards you had to flip a coin, roll a die, or a whole bunch of other things so far. I know that there are a lot of cards already that do these things, but if I made this deck, would anyone be interested to see it? I've been thinking about it a lot lol
Now I just have to come up with names. What will they be? It is a mystery
If you guys are still going to do that tournament, I'll enter.

I don't know what you would call them. Arcana Force, maybe? Joking aside, though, it's a good idea. A coin-flip to see if it's a dice roll? Brilliant.

My DN username is KeiXvX.
I actually have a friend who uses the DN who might be interested.

Let me see if he wants in.

My DN username is Cyber Mongoose :)
I would join my name is RustyXD but I can't seem to connect to how long does it usually take? I haven't made a deck or anything but if I can connect I will join.
Hahah, another epic Duel with my Chaos-Blackwings.

Me: Dark Armed Dragon (with Graveyard loaded), Armed Wing, and Armor Master; no back row. (2000 LP) Hand: Chaos Sorcerer

Him: Gorz, Token, face down; no back row. (2400 LP) Hand: 6 Cards.

I really hope I can push the Deck to become Tier 1.5 at the very least; the Deck definitely isn't dead. I'm really hoping Konami can at least give us back 2 Kaluts, Gales, and Whirlwinds. xD
I'm not gonna lie though, I REALLY dislike the idea of people being able to switch decks between matches, it's kind of ridiculous.
Moi aussi.

That's probably the main reason I haven't confirmed my entry. I dislike the idea a lot.
Just to clear up something:

You are allowed to switch decks between rounds (AKA, a best two out of three.) You can not switch decks inbetween that set of 2/3 (A game)

EG: If I was playing against for example, Kei; Kei can not switch decks when He/I win the first "game" so side-decking is not completely null in this tournament. However, he would be allowed to play a different deck against for example TylerPT. (If you don't understand that example, it's like a WBO beyblade tournament, except with a Swiss format.)

I'll close registration at 10:00PM tonight. (Eastern Timezone)
I know what you meant.
I still think it's stupid.
Then your choice if you want to enter or not. Tongue_out
And, it wasn't directed at you exactly; it was just in case anybody was confused.
Yeah, if the tournament is going to play like that then never mind, count me out.
So I feel very lucky. I bought a Leviathan Dragon tin just now and it came with an extra Leviathan Dragon, Pot of Duality, Dark Simorgh, Beast King Barbaros, and Stygian Street Patrol Grin

I have a suggestion for how to handle this: PM a designated person, for example Roan, decklists, including side and extra, for up to three decks to use in the tournament. At the end of each duel, both people have to take screenshots of the other person's hand, field, and graveyard, which are then posted or PM'd. If there are any discrepancies between the decks shown and lists, the person automatically forfeits the match, and is disqualified. However, I doubt there'd be any cheating. Joyful_2 But, that's why I suggested a new thread.
Alright, i'll be playing 2 types of decks, maybe just 1, cuz i gotta practise for regionals....

My username is tylerxtran
I wouldve came up with something better, but tylerxtran was for my username, i didn't think it'd be my screen name as well
i might come up from nowhere but i'm a noob in ygo. i just came back. I don't know if this is a good place to place here ... i don't know what is the most worth of the money... i often go to dollarama to pick myself some cards ( i don't even know if they are real...)... whitch sort of deck is the easiest for the beginner? i got alot of first edition... and my strongest card is wingweaver, malevolant mech-goku en, ancient crimson ape, final psychic ogre, launcher spider, memory crush king, judge man, gaia the fierce knight and saber beetle

Or you could just avoid all of that hassle and not allow people to switch decks?

Seems like a more logical solution to me.
