Oh now that I look at it again that makes sense. It just sounds like Raigeko got the Hasbro RS and was loving it.
General Hasbro BEYBLADE:Metal Fury/Shogun Steel/Beyblades Legends -FALL 2014 [HOBBY]
(Aug. 27, 2011 7:06 PM)Kai-V Wrote:LeonTempestXIII Wrote:Kai-V: You also have to understand that hasbro does what is right for them. Beyblade is competative in Asia, not in North America, that is why Hasbro does things so differently. All of thier decisions, good or bad, and as stupid as they may seem sometimes, are all conscious ones, even if the public doesn't undertand them.
What do we learn from this? MFB from TT and SK are to be used competativly while Hasbro beyblades are to simply be used as a child's spinning top game. Why do you think all of the parts were made more durable in the 1st place?
Beyblade is not competitive in North America (also, why just North America again ?) ? How come we have regular events in many locations in that same North America because Hasbro does not meet the fans' demand ? This whole site exists, lives everyday because of Hasbro's complete lack of involvement, and you know just how big and active this organisation is. With Toywiz, we were even able to reach out to hundreds more fans who were in need of organised play, because Hasbro does not care. All they care about is making money at a first level by selling toys, and they are just either too ignorant, too "shy", or too mean to actually go beyond that level that any company could achieve and actually support their toyline in a proper way.
What ? Hasbro's parts are on average not more durable, no ? In fact, kids break their parts still way too easily. If they had imported Beyblades, the problem would be the same, I am sure.
You cannot deny that in general the molds for parts from hasbro are stronger than the ones released by TT, or Hasbro just re-releases TT's strongest mold of that part. But you are correct, when it comes to children, that makes little to no difference.
You have slightly misunderstood me. HASBRO does not take the game seriously. The WBO does. That is the difference. With the possible exception of the release of the Legend beys (which if we did have any influence it was on a scale larger than the WBO more like the fan base as a whole) the beyblade community has almost no influence on what they do with beyblade.
My point was, and still is, TT takes beyblade seriously, Sonokong takes beyblade seriously, the WBO takes Beyblade VERY seriously, and even 3rd party companies like Toywiz have been shown taking Beyblade seriously (Summer Spin Showdown)...
...Hasbro does NOT take Beyblade seriously. I merley stated North America as that is where Hasbro distributes thier product. I should have been more specific.
But you cannot deny that there is a lot of room and reason for Hasbro to take it seriously (in North America and elsewhere) because those places are just as competitive and in need of organised play.
You are absolutely right Kai-V. The factor you are leaving out is that Hasbro CAN take it seriously, but they choose not to.
For those reading through this conversation, I would just like to make sure you know that hasbro is not a horrible, evil, greedy company that doesn't care about thier consumers; they do, but do keep in mind that when it comes to things like "release this part"; "make this"; "do that" they cannot be bothered. Frankly, most toy companies wouldn't either, it is just that Takara-TOMY and Sonokong are just some of the better toy companies out there. Plus, hasbro is limited to distributing what TT does with beyblade, and there is only so much leeway Hasbro has with the product. There alot of things we don't know about TT and Hasbro's past and current agreements with all of thier shared toylines, so by nature, we won't understand alot of what Hasbro does with these toylines.

I am pretty sure this is not posted yet. I have confirmation for a new beyblade metal masters 2 pack: Gravity Demolition Force.
This 2 pack includes gravity perseus ad145wd and inferno byxis ch120rs. This 2 pack comes with a lot of very good parts to have. I am very impressed with hasbro making such a drastic comeback. Perhaps because inferno is not released in the legend packaging it is made of the standard heavier metal. However this is just speculation.

Gravity Demolition Force 2 pack
Tbh, Inferno doesn't have any COMPETITIVE use, but it's fun to play with.
I shall be getting that pack, no doubt, CH120, RS, Perseus altogether, amazing 2 pack.
EDIT: Am I seeing things, or is that Gravity the Silver recolor that comes in the Reshuffle set? Wow, amazing.
Pray to god they fixed the CH120 on this.
@Raigeko How can you tell if it is Black and White.
Is that the rulebook? Where did you find it?
It seem Hasbro now has BeyPower Parts
There are now XTS stealth beys, wonder what they do.
Since when does Ch120 have attack and defense mode?

White or light-gray indicates a brighter color scheme.

Gravity Demolition Force 2 pack
That is the best faceoff set yet. Epic find. Such good parts
It'd be tops if they replaced RS with RF.

The color of the wheel seems to be shining silver in color, due to it looking lighter than a black color, if it were black, it wouldn't be as light as it is. Hence why I say it looks silverish.
Codeine Extorts
Even though is comes with RS, RF fo sho would be better. Still, RS is a great part no doubt.

Personally I'm happier it's RS than RF - RF is extremely easy to get in Hasbro world. RS proves to be a larger pain.
When Metal Masters is fully released, bye bye Storm Pegasus, hello Galaxy Pegasus and Grand Cetus. lol
What I'm saying is that soon it may be harder to obtain an RF, due to MM being released. I haven't seen a Storm Pegasus in MM boosters, or starters, so I'm a bit worried. If anyone has seen one, please, do tell lol

You can get RF through the Pegasis 3 pack now, or just go to your local stores and see if there are Storm Pegasus left in stock.
Even with the crappy parts like Cyber and Galaxy, both which are terrible compared to Storm, a less than decent MW, the RF and R2F make it so worth the buy.
I wonder, with releases like Burn Wolf and Poison Virgo, and it's appearance in the anime, isnt a Grand Centus II innevitable?
And is it just me, or are the parts included with the hasbro Grand Centus mixed between Grand Centus I and II?

Atleast the Gravity Destroyer faceoff set comes with a left spin launcher. That faceoff pack is one I'll be keeping an eye out for...
Well you can easily get a RF from KMart and TRU from a Pegasus starter. I'm happy the two-pack comes with RS because Grand Cetus seems to be just as hard to find as it was when it was still only obtainable through RBs

Perhaps just because it is not even supposed to be released yet but Hasbro has seemingly no control over their releases and everything comes out randomly and months before it should ?
People are getting Grand Cetus See
... And because of that you call it "released" ? You think all the states have it (because the United States are probably the only country whom we can say fully have Metal Masters right now) ... ?
TheMrblade2000
He lives in AUS. And the US even STILL barely has wave 2, God forbid Canada.

As much as I like Hasbro, typically, this trait is evident not only in Beyblade, but in pretty much every other series they release. Either their distributors do serious amounts of drugs on the side, or they do it deliberately.
My area's stores do not even have all of Wave 2, for the most part.

As for this, it's quite easy to get RFs via the Pegasus 3-pack, which also comes with Beylaunchers. The trick is to look through them - you will OFTEN find one that has two storm pegasus in it, instead of one storm and one cyber. After running across one like this, I went back to the Target I got it from and searched their inventory, confirming this suspicion.
Two RFs and a Beylauncher(red) for twenty bucks, along with an R2F, is not a bad deal in any sense. Target also tends to have mass amounts of their exclusives stored away, so it's not likely going away any time soon.
The Gravity Destroyer 2 Pack looks incredible. Im really looking forward to all of these popping up in stores soon!

The randomness with their releases does get annoying imo. But, nevertheless, it's still cool that Hasbro is doing these early releases. I'm getting a Hades Kerbecs months before I should, lol?
