General Hasbro BEYBLADE:Metal Fury/Shogun Steel/Beyblades Legends -FALL 2014 [HOBBY]

Since it's an Attack/Defense tip, all but stamina make sense for combos with it.
It would just be easier to call it a balance type, even WB and B i consider balance types. I don't know of many pure defense type tips, not even from the D series...It seems that non aggressive type tips are either pure stamina, or a mix of Stamina and Defense.
The tip is balance, yes, but the rest of the combo may not be. Plus, the listing of Rock Escolpio is meant to be misleading.
For TT/Hasbro, type is determined by tip only, nothing else.

How is it ment to be misleading? It wasnt just Rock Scorpio, that one I see named defense alot. (most of the time anyway) It is the faceoff sets that are all over the place.
Tip means everything? Stupid Hasbro!

Rock Escolpio in the anime was meant to be an aggressive bey, using defense type parts in an attempt to fool the opponent. It makes sense for it to be labeled as a defense type and, as far as I know, it always has been.
As for the others, who knows?
Actually, Rock Pegasus was considered an Attack type, and has a WD. go figure.

Anyways, I found out hasbro now is fully up to date on their online store. You can now get MLD assault GP attack,
and quite a few others. They even have the new Two pack with the brown Perseus and neon yellow Byxis.

Not really...
Thermal Lacerta WA130HF
Lightning L-Drago 100HF
Both bottoms are attack, though Thermal Lacerta is labeled as a balance type, LLD is an attack type. They don't consider everything on the bottom alone, they actually have their own stats for the metal wheel and such, which can help balance out/change a bey's type. Like Thermal was a stamina wheel, but HF is attack with a bit of stamina.
Attack+Stamina=Balance
But, this is just my theory.
As anyone got the Thermal Lacerta 2 pack. It says Thermal Lacerta is a Stamina type.

Now that I was unaware of. thanks for the info. i dougbt hasbro is doing it on purpose though, they may just be confused themselves.

If you'd seen the first episode of the anime involving Thermal Lacerta, you'd know that they called HF a Balance tip. Hasbro seems to go by what the anime calls things, for the most part.

Which one? I own the Thermal Lacerta vs Thunder Leone set, but I cannot remember off-hand what it said on the package.

They do? Well, my apologies for saying that. I don't really watch the anime, so that's why I wasn't aware of this Tongue_out
Again, my apologies!

Yeah. It calls Thermal Lacerta a Stamina Type. I own the single version and it calls it a Balance Type on that. The only difference between the two is the color.

From what i remember, during Metal Fusion it was all based on the tip. I guess now they just add up the starts and do whatever seems right, or they just think Pegasis makes the bey super powerful...

Stamina, balance, so confuing...silly hasbro =P

I wasnt aware of the anime thing either...

If HF is a balance type, why is HF/S considered an attack type????
It's not like Takara is much better about it... star ratings and given "types" are almost always nonsense, though on occasion they get the star ratings right.
Star ratings are skewed because they reflect how the part is intended to preform, and alot of the time, in the real world, things do not work like that.

Plus, it is all about marketing. I would bet money that the stats for RF areBS and are just to attract people to make them think they are buying the coolest most powerful bey ever, the damn fools...
I'm going to go ahead and stop this discussion. It's gotten horribly off-topic, and basically turned this into Beyblade Random Thoughts/any of the Hasbro threads.
It's Beyblade, that is all folks. Too many events and surprise releases going about are making this thread more or less the same thing as Random Thoughts....
Heh, on Entertainment Earth there is a placeholder for "Wave" 15 tops. Hopefully they didn't pointlessly shift existing "waves" into a higher number for the sake of page hits.....

not sure if this is new as i haven't been around in the last month

well, i was at Wal-mart, and they had a gravity destroyer stadium!
it doesn't seem to have much of a slope from what i saw, and the tornado ring goes all the way up to the pockets... but it looks awesome!

It's been known but thanks for the description of the stadium, that is new! That is an interesting design at least Hasbro isn't rereleasing the same exact thing.

Interesting. That might actually change the Hasbro metagame. Seeing as it has a different design, hopefully it makes it a smidge better.

Yes, that is a good thing.
I Don't know if this has been posted, but Gravity Destroyer's AD145 is sorta PURPLE.?
"Colors may vary", I'm sure that's somewhere on every package of a toy.
