So people can have their favorite beys from before but now with tattooed faces.

Well maybe because Rock Aries was incredibly hard to find... (For me at least, seriously, when I was in MAryland, Out of 13 Targets and TRUs each, there was only one Rock Aries...) Or like Temporal said, just for shelf space.

Or maybe they just wanna make some extra dough lol?
The last two, plus what Infinite Libra said. If it was the first, why wouldn't Hasbro clean up ALL of their releases?
I highly recommend That Bladers pick up the two pack with Ray Striker and Inferno Cancer in it. The other CS mold is a lot more controllable, especially in the hasbro stadiums. I know it has been touched on a bit, but I remember it had not really been tested all that much.

Yes. Most people are reporting that it is basically the second calmest out-of-box CS there is. I intend on picking up a couple of those 2-packs just to have a spare calm CS.
wow so dissatisfied just reading this i bought 2 ray strikers because TRU was having a bogo sale and its been like 2 1/2 weeks since ive had the CS's and there both still pretty aggro

Unless you bought the ones in the Lightning Sword faceoff pack coupled with Inferno Gasher, you didn't get the right CS. The regular Hasbro Ray Striker CS is more aggressive than any other, and wears down slowly and irregularly, to boot.

I had been looking everywhere for that 2 pack with no luck, and the other day I went into K-Mart and they had two of them, plus a 2 Pack with a Thnder Lenoe GB145BS that I had never seen before. I would have gotten both of the Ray Striker packs, but they are more expensive there than any other store I have ever been too. I got one for now, and if I get some spare cash i will head back.

Yeah, I couldnt even get the other CS to stay in the middle of the stadium even with a Regular Launch. Hopefully sometime the aggressive ones will wear down.
Yes, I saw both the Lightning Sword pack, and the one with Thermal Lacerta and Thunder Leone. God, I wish I had bought one or the other.
On one hand, you have a great CS with Ray, and most of the other parts. The Cancer looks damn sexy too.
Then you have the Thermal Lacerta pack.
Lacerta IMO is just... eww. It looks so bad.
BUT THAT THUNDER LEONE
DAT FACE
SO DAMN SEXY Cute
Plus, I could go for an extra GB145 Grin

haha i realize that now but its really fun playing with MF-H Basalt Bull BD145CS(aggro) its like a carping train coming at it you(pretty much a defensive R2F) and its really good at tournaments when your opponent thinks oh its a Basalt CS then battles and realizes its aggro

The Cancer Clear Wheel looks soooo good. Not only the Leone Face, but the fact that the GB145 is a Dark Green is really nice too. Im going to try to pick it up as well.

The Lacerta from the Lacerta vs Leone pack is actually my second favorite CW/Facebolt in all of MFB, lol. I use it in my Earth combo despite it being inferior, aside from when I'm testing things for competitive purposes.

I should warn you, though, that the GB145 from that face-off pack is off-balance, and does not seem to have the same staying power as the Earth Virgo GB145. Mine, at least, performs noticably worse. I'd tested it rather extensively to make sure I wasn't imagining things - it could just be my GB145 from that pack, but I figured I'd put the warning out there.
^Is there any noticeable differences with your GB145?

I was speaking specifically about mine. I have two GB145 - one Yellow one from the Earth Virgo starter, and the clear greenish-gray one from the Thermal Lacerta vs Thunder Leone pack. The Yellow GB145 VASTLY outperforms the one from the faceoff pack, in every situation. I actually posted details about it in the Manufacturing Problems with your Bey thread, somewhere.

I meant by just looking at it if you you see any differences between the two.
As InfiniteLibra said, he is suggesting so because maybe there is a fault?

Could you weight both in GRAMS?
I would think that it's possible that either-
1. A new mold, perhaps? It would be great if you could weigh them both, like BBS suggested.
2. It may be possible that the screws are either tighter than they should be, or not tight enough.

I do not have a reliable method of weighing things so small, and do not intend to purchase one for something so trivial. My apologies.

Visibly, there's no major difference in mine - they're both level, the screws are pretty much the same tightness. The clear one does "separate" a bit, on one side, after a couple of launches - pressing down on the base lightly fixes it. However, it's not a large difference, even on the microscale of physics utilized by these little tops.
Ill try to get ahold of the Green GB145 and do some tests with it to see if it is all of the GB145's.
UK UPDATE:
The pegasus triple set (one with galaxy, cyber and storm) has been listed on the Tesco direct website as available in September. This would suggest all the "target exclusive sets" (and the Ldrago one) are being sold in the UK by tesco. They have it listed for £20 which is very cheap.
Hasbro's Rock has a new mold. It uses the 6 cylinder variation and is slightly wider than the original to allow for extra reinforcment points. Its eems hasbro is really stepping it up with all of these new variations of parts.
For those wondering whether the Lacerta Faceoff GB145 is noticably heavier than Earth Virgo's, it really isn't. The difference is most likely just the usual minor weight differences in mass produced toys.

Faceoff: 4.479g
Virgo: 4.491g

Like Hazel's dark green GB145, mine is usually outperformed by the yellow one as well, though not nearly to the same extent Hazel described. I'll give results if you want, but my yellow GB145 would often win by roughly 1-3 seconds.

Which beyblades come with rock mold 2? Rock Zurafa? The new metal masters Rock Aries?
Actualy, my brother's Rock Scorpio from the end of Metal Fusion came with this newer mold. I compared my Rock Aquario from the very 1st release of BMF and the differences are apparent if looked for. Honestly, it seems as if there is no difference in preformance from the original 6 cylinder mold, except that this version could have more or less recoil. I am uncertain, and I do not have the proper materiasl to test it.

In all due honesty, there are probobly alot of mold variations of all parts we are unaware of because the differences are so minor. This is most common with metal wheels that are given more reinforcement points over the course of thier production. This may be just one of them. I only noticed it because of the size difference, which is unusual for a mold change.

For all we know, there is already a different mold released.

I got the CS from the 2 pack with ray striker and inferno gasher. The CS from there is so calm that it acts like the rubber isn't even there...
