I think I know why Quebec is not in this. On the back of Hasbro Beyblades, it says "BeybladeBattles.com not open to Quebec residents under the age of 13". So, since you must be under 13 to join BeybladeBattles.com, quebec can't join. A-holes, lol.

It is unbelievably ridiculous when you consider that everywhere else in the world, including the US, is having actual tournaments to determine their national champions ...
So there is no actual blading involved, it is just online battles?

That is kind of stupid..easier than actualy having people compete from all over the world, but still stupid...
Well, at least we won't be shocked when Canada loses...

And what if the winner of the BeybladeBattles.com national championship only has dark wolf? The Grand Prize doesn't include beyblades...

Lol

Wow, you would think it would be better organized than that.
So in other words, the people doing this think that your skills online translate to the real world? Unbelievably stupid. Maybe if a teenager obbsessed with Beyblade and breathes beyblade you could win this, but the whole thing just seems obbsurd if you ask me.

Image if the kid who wins does go to Canada for the championships, and he/she brings a Pegasus like any other kid would, and whe he/she gets thier, younger versions of Kai-V and Bey Brad with Basalt combos are waiting to destroy him, that would be fantastic.

What stadium is the secondary prize anyway? It just gives the product number

After playing on beybattles.com once, i realized how annoying the game is. The parts you choose either do not seem to matter, or your opponent has this god bey they created from wasting thier lives on that stupid game. So unbalanced....

Why bring a Pegasis when you can bring a Lightning Bull, apparently one of the strongest customizations.

(Lightning Bull or whatever L Drago).

By the way, do not necessarily believe that this is only for us in Canada : on BeybladeBattles.com, in the United States part where they talk about the qualifying tournaments, they also mention getting points online. It is just really sad that Canada will apparently only have those "tournaments" on BeybladeBattles.com though ...
Sigh. Somebody with an actually good combo better win.
I can just imagine it now, an Evil combo beating a Basalt combo...

the horror...the pure spinning top horror...

Typo? LLD says it comes with 100F...
No, it says 100HF. I just looked at it 0_o

The reason why i wrote that was because it said Canada, so i wanted it to be clear that i was specifically talking about Canada and that i do not know about USA. America may have different prizes, etc. (which i'm sure you already know).
I didn't want start confusion and stuffz like that.

Smile
Random, but also relating to this thread. Acting dumb to beyblades is hard for me to do o.O

Chat between me and a Hasbro Representative (Click to View)
For the record, I'. only 14 years old. I have no son! Lol.

Since when are beyblades on backorder?!?
Wouldn't providing false information be illegal? You are technicaly scamming them, and they were kind enough to send you another beyblade anyway?

I do not find that amusing at all
i'm not copying and pasting this time.

USA National Beyblade Championships Home Page

USA National Beyblade Championships Rules

so USA is doing online and real life Battles. Thats better than Canada.

if you're in USA and are the correct ages to go, check around that website and find a City you can go to.

There's no Secondary Prizes like Canada is doing.

Canada and USA are the only Countries that have info on their National Championship right now. I'll keep looking and if another country gets updated with info, i'll post it.

I think that's all I need to say without explaining the whole thing in point form again.
We've already read that and I plan on entering because minus the facial hair I actually look like I'm thirteen so they won't know how old I am and by the way before ANYONE gets on my case for doing this let me just say I've never been to a REAL tournament before so please no rudness.

You're committing a felony by lying about your age to enter a tournament. By agreeing to enter you are basically "signing" a legally-binding contract that, should you be discovered as falsifying information, will result in you being stripped of your win, and possibly further legal action taken upon you or your legal guardians. It will also invalidate the performances of the other entrants in the tournament who were told they would not be going against anyone above the age of 13.

I'd not suggest it, personally, if only because it's morally repugnant and very much illegal.
My grandparents NEVER took me to the older tournaments which beside if I don't respond to the email (I used my own email address) I won't have to go and I also know that I need Hasbro gear so I can just order off of toywiz.com and I might not go though because I won't be able to make it unless I can get some way to transport myself there.
I do not think he was actually going to get a free Beyblade, LeonTempest..

Your folks not letting you go to tournaments is no excuse for you to rob other Beybladers of a fair competitive environment, nor is it justification for the legal side of this.

Hasbro's rules are Hasbro's rules. Obey them at their events, or organize a WBO event. There is absolutely no need to resort to breaking rules, the law, or upsetting other Beybladers.

Respect the hobby.

If you do not think you will get caught then you are a fool. When they do catch you, they might even look at the posts you made here for legal evidence. While I disaprove of what you are doing, if you are going to do it, atleast be smart about it.

I garantee that you wont be able to enter though. if they even think that you are older they will ask for proof. When you cannot provide that, what happens after is entirly up to them.

Just go to a normal WBO tourney in your area. Dont have one? MAKE ONE. Seriously dude...

Have we? No we haven't, nobody on here has known. Only dates and rules of Play.

Your parents/legal gaurdian have to sign a waiver. So it's not just a "ignore the e-mail", your parents could/would get in some serious shiz, potentially including fines, etc.
Agreeing with Shabalabadoo. And there is one more factor you forgot to add in...

THIS IS A CHILDREN"S SPINNING TOP GAME! Why do you care so much about entering a childrens tourney? Just wait for a tourney from the WBO in your area or make one yourself as I suggested.
What the heck is with Hasbro's Rules?

go to page 4 and look at the "Scoring Option"
it says:
"If your top gets trapped in a penalty pocket, your opponent scores 2 points"

what? I thought that getting KO'ed didn't matter, all that mattered was outspinning?
All of this is from Hasbro's US website.

oh, and one more thing, I think there should be a seperate Topic that contains all the info for National Championships, is this OK with the Committee Members?
