General Hasbro BEYBLADE:Metal Fury/Shogun Steel/Beyblades Legends -FALL 2014 [HOBBY]

Soundwave off topic dude.
I went back to the shop i the sighted earth aquila booster to take a photo and check the facebolt but all they had were legends boosters. HOW CONVENIENT -.-"
I was first approached by UnderlordAbel about the following site, and slowly I am getting more private messages about it :
https://beybladeuschampionships.com/
Apparently it only got linked to on BeybladeBattles.com, not on the Beyblade Facebook page or anything.

You can see that there are some tournaments planned in the United States this August, for eight- to twelve/thirteen-year-olds.

Here are some rules I wanted to highlight though :

Quote:Hasbro manufactured Electronic Tops, IR Spin Control Tops, Tornado Tops, and Electro Battler Tops are not allowed.

See, I told you all the second I saw those new XTS toys that they would be illegal, therefore completely useless.

Quote:Each BEYBLADE top must contain the following five (5) parts: Face Bolt, Energy Ring, Fusion Wheel, Spin Track and Performance Tip. All five (5) parts must be manufactured by Hasbro. Each BEYBLADE top used in a Round must utilize a different Fusion Wheel.

Do they actually check it now ...

Quote:Competitors cannot launch their BEYBLADE top from a standing, jumping or running position.

So you could slide on your knees towards the stadium ...

Quote:End of Battle

The Battle ends when one top stops spinning. If the Referee determines that both of the BEYBLADE tops stopped spinning at the same time the Referee will declare the Battle a tie.

So theoretically, if a Beyblade is knocked out but still spins, the battle does not end ...

Quote:WINNING 3. If a Competitor’s BEYBLADE top enters a side pocket in the BEYSTADIUM and continues to spin longer than the Opponent’s BEYBLADE top, he or she will be declared the winner.

I thought a lot of the Hasbro players here were sure that this consisted as a knock out and that this person lost the battle ?

At least they seem to have dropped the system of points, where a knock out is worth a certain amount of points, etc. and whoever reached three or something won the match.

I think I am going to ask for the winners list if it ever becomes available.
I want to cry. I saw that too; I was hoping to participate. Also, they restricted all the parts to Hasbro only. No Takara-Tomy or Sonokong.
i thought everybody knew about those hasbro rules? i posted them here before, just not in such detail
They have metal masters in Canada! Score I saw them at Toronto in the bayview area Grin

Hasbro I am dissapoint.

Makes me wonder...what is the point of the pockets then?
Ever seen an LLD in a pocket? They either die, or fly out with a vengeance. Pretty fun. Soooo does this mean that we should do Hasbro testings in such a way now? I mean, that IS a Hasbro rule now...
I really hate these rules! Especially the second one, that says you can't use the same Metal Wheel and when Hasbro releases Basalt and Hell, You can't swamp everyone with combos that use the same MW, such as MF-H- Basalt BD145CS/MF-H Basalt GB145RS.
Too bad though that Hasbro tournaments mean nothing here to this community, and aren't respected at all.

Just like Crapcom and the rest of the internet...
Good point. Just a little fear I had, since that would render RF useless. And any other Rubber Bottom, would it not?
Stop on Crapcom comments now, Raigeko. Spare us this...pre-rant mini-rant? Because we all know what's coming next...
The Hasbro tournaments because of the stadiums they which cant help any rubber bottom to win
wrong it can still be used if in a hasbro stadium, if you over wear it, it will then be illegal, meaning it has no use at all...

but in a hasbro tourney, it is safe to stay away from an RF...
They really won't find the world champion if those are the dates and locations only.

Those rules strike as somewhat bogus to me. You're saying that if I use a RF and knock something out perfectly, it won't be out if it still spins?

Raigeko, you rock, I hate you Hasbro/whoever made those rules.

Plus I can' even use my 4D Beys. Wow. Just wow.
Wow what's the point of a stadium out when u have to outlast ur opponents too. Now attack types r completeley useless. Why do they need to tournaments in NY and Ca but not one in other places
these new rules suck, IIRC when they had the tournament at westfields across Australia we could win by stadium outs, but this tournament is primarily aimed at defence, stamina and balance (dunno if people use balance though) so if theres 8-13 year olds on here, they would know there best chances would be a Basalt, Earth and Hell?? (if its released, highly doubt it)
I hope these arn't all the locations. They are all either in the east coast, the west coast, or Texas (Since that's in the middle).

These are pointless tournements overall. But maybe even someone from the WBO is nearby they can bring TT Beys and stadiums and show kids that arn't battling a good stadium/bey.

Hasbro beys are very good, it's just their stadiums that are carp.

Exactly. They came close with the TBS Beystadium, but they had a sudden derp and added the cores.
They came close with that stadium ? Not at all. It still has no exit at all, and now we know that the pockets are still legal area to be spinning in, so it is still another bad stadium from Hasbro.
Speaking of the tbs, I just found it in my tru in washington. So it should now be available Almost all across the states.

I meant the slope of the stadium. IIRC, the slope was okay.

To me, not sure about others, I don't find it easy to measure the slope because of the cores. I'll compare it to each of my stadiums, and see if it 'had' a slope if it were to not have those Battle Cores.
EDIT: It seems to me that the slope would be about the same as the Pegasus Thunder Whip. In other words, this would seem to be another stamina dominated stadium without the cores and just a solid battle area. But the stadium is amusing when you watch high recoil beys against others, they keep hitting the walls and such. The pockets of the stadium are incredibly small and cannot hold a bey within their grasp.

F and HF. Those two have been damn effective for a while now.

To your second question. Hasbro does not know themselves. Because they are stupid, maybe?
