General Hasbro BEYBLADE:Metal Fury/Shogun Steel/Beyblades Legends -FALL 2014 [HOBBY]

Do we have any confirmation of this, that Legends is the last series? Also, if legends is selling so well everywhere, why is hasbro ending it?
We at Zankye Channel have confirmed the authenticity of the news and it's true no speculation, and for a lot of the US based bladers there's 'a big chance that Beyblade legends never get to the Shelves at both Walmart and Target who carry some Legends 2 packs and some of the Bey Stadiums. Forget about Toy 's r us there' s no legends whatsoever. For a lot of US and other parts of the world Bladers the only hope is ebay and amazon.
Wow... Well, I found a TRU with Legends. This is really sad... Thank you for this news Zankye.
At my TRU, we have CP, LDD, Omega Dragonis and Diablo Nemisis. Also some Shogun Steel, Grin #pleasedon'traidmytru/walmart/target
We found legends Hyperblades at Toys R us in Canada just a few and last week there was a sale online for the Vortex Stadium for $14.99 that lasted a few days, but nothing at Toys r us in the US
That's maddening. Has hasbro clarified the reason? And zankye, will you continue to make videos?
The series in Japan are over for 2 years meaning another 3 years until they launch new series , when they do that Takara Tomy will launch the new beys first and Hasbro will follow the year after. Yes Zankye is here to stay for sure with videos battle series and giveaways for the next 18 months, there's no lack of beys in our side to give them away, we already stock up enough.
Damn it! Now I have absolutely no faith in Hasbro anymore. I could care less about Nerf and Transformers (they're both cool but not for me) but Beyblades?! This is not good news at all for Hasbro. I know people will say "just order them online"...well guess what? I CAN'T and even if I could, I shouldn't have to order them. Did Legends really do THAT badly?
They had a new wave coming up didn't they? Ugh Hasbro...

I think that Beyblade Legend was there just to fix up the Metal Fury line a little more, if this is a joke then PLEASE say so. Ah well...

EDIT: And if there's too much Shogun Steel, the UK could really do with some, and at least it would get them off the stores.
eh, beyblade is probably on life support as it is, as the WBO and before Hasbro was the only thing keeping it alive, and it's working to an extent.
We didn't even get ANY Legends. Does Hasbro really hate the UK? (I know they don't actually hate the UK but they don't seem to acknowledge us EITHER). There are so many Beyblade things that Hasbro never brought to the UL and I can list them all but I won't. I am also aware that India are still on Sparks FX, I have a friend who lives there and likes Beyblades and now he can't get them unless by PAINSTAKINGLY ordering them.

I guess... but the WBO could be strong enough to keep it afloat till then, not to mention I have seen some really great fan series of beyblade like yours, ~Pegasus~, Dual etc. There still tourneys... but we still have to try harder to keep it alive.
Well that sucks, really. I guess they do need a reboot, but it would be nice if the next series at least revolved around the same way shogun steel or metal fusion tops are assembled so bladers can swap new and old.
Also, Beyblade now is just something a lot of kids have- they buy one or two and see no reason to buy more. That's the way it is for a lot of kids I know.
Update: went to target and they had legends there, now that black Friday has come they have run out. Will they be getting more shipments?
Just edit your previous post...
I'm not sure if anyone else uses Instagram, (I personally hate it) but DrPepsidew sent me a photo of a teaser from Habro's page with an image taken from the original Beyblade movie and put a caption with "Something's Coming... 2015.. Get Ready.." It also had #habro #beyblade #2000 If I could pull up the photo I would. :\

Sadly, I know the picture you're referring to, but that's a fake account. It's says it's the "Hasbro Official", but it was proven to be fake a while back. Tongue_out

It really sucks that somebody would make a fake account, like that.

As Leone said, it is fake, but here is the link:

Are you serious? Wow. Obviously people have nothing better to do than screw with other people's minds. Jesus christ. I was ready to drop a grand. XD

NOOOO! I was so excited! Why would somebody do this!?!?! WHAT IS WRONG WITH THEM!?!?!?! Do they have no shame? That is an awful thing to do! Meanwhile, I guess I'll try my best to try and contact some of the higher-ups in hasbro and figure out what they think is going on. If nothing comes from that, then I'll have to brush up on (and possible learn some more of) my Japanese and talk to takara tomy xD

The sad part is, if they're going to make a fake account, at least make it convincing. The sentence with that picture has horrible grammar... "The background of this picture is shot taken from...", haha.

Like if you're going to try to imitate an actual company, at least do it well.

Saw the link. It doesn't look like something hasbro would post anyways. Hasbro would have a cooler demonstration of what is to come if at all. Aka hasbro would either make it very mysterious or very shiny, if any of that makes sense

Not only that, but Hasbro doesn't act independently (I don't think they are legally able to anyways). They pretty much just follow Takara Tomy, so if Hasbro was to announce something, it would probably be a year after Takara Tomy did.

We actually reported that account to Hasbro USA so that they could take care of it, but clearly nothing happened ...
As I often do, I had an illumination this morning after I woke up.

Even if the several waves of Beyblade Legends products were only meant to clean out shelves, seriously, each one of you, sit down and take some time to reflect. Were they seriously expecting those toys to just sell by themselves ? Their existence in the toy alley would be enough, really ?

What I realised this morning was that the only promotional output for Beyblade Legends was ... zankye. Obviously we respect him a lot, and he has many followers on YouTube, but that would of course not reach out to the majority of even just the North American fans.

Nerf has no television show, yet you see ads for them on YTV all year long. If you remove the actors in the ads, it should be rather easy and not that costly to make a promo and air it if you really want to sell the toyline or boost it even. Especially when you know that the anime for Zero-G/Shogun Steel did not necessarily air everywhere and has stopped being broadcast for a while now.

So, put that on top of the fact Organized Play support was not sufficient enough, like for the first few seasons of Beyblade at the beginning of the 2000s as well.
