General Hasbro BEYBLADE:Metal Fury/Shogun Steel/Beyblades Legends -FALL 2014 [HOBBY]

Thanks for the unboxing, ExoticsKing, that was much appreciated, valuable, too!

I found the Wolf too look semi-nice, actually. I didn't see much of a difference between both the recolor and the regular Poison Serpent. In fact, it looks arguably better than the original Hasbro/Takara release.

Regardless, of that, though, why couldn't there have been a better choice of Beyblade, lol?

Hasbro probably Hastrolled us, or that they are not seeing the logic of a WBO member.

Regardless what a coinkidink, though the colours looks good IMO, the only thing worse is a Storm Capricorn and ??????? Bad beyblade.
Dark Wolf and Poison Serpent...the worst MFB? I don't think so. Storm Capricorne and Killer Gemios are the absolute worst MFBs ver made.

Back on topic, why did Hasbro put Poision Serpent and Dark Wolf together? Its like they are begging for apocolypse. (Not literally but hey...thats was just a little thing I wanted to say).

Storm Capricorn is the worst ever released by Hasbro. Absolutely no pieces have a competitive use. Poison Serpent have at least SD, or even SW145 with a little use competitively.
I seriously hate the recolour, the 4D version of Legends were the original colours, why not theses two ?

Well I agree, Spiral Capricorn is better than Storm Carpicorn.

I however have a guilty pleasure with it's bounce gimmick so while it may be the worst performing one, it's pretty fun IMO.

Better question is why Hasbro must ALWAYS recolour things to mostly ugly random recolours, why not the original, what were they thinking?!
Honestly, the recolours aren't that bad. I actually like them, they look way better than Sparks FX and that BARF INDUCING Beyblade: Metal Masters Ray Gil 2-pack (I'm NOT talking about the Legends 2-pack).

I'm asking the same question, did you remember the ugly Spark Fx Proto Nemesis ?

I definitely can't forget it's bright colours which destroyed my soul...

That and Variares and Nemesis Hyperblades Sparks FX is the worst recolours IMO, I rather look at Thermal Lacerta than those carps!
Honestly; RBY Primary colors aren't that bad.

Personally I really like Phantom Orion Hyperblade Spark FX, the colours are really nice. But why Hasbro couldn't release at least the Legends in the original colours ?

Well, it seems the two-packs are really the only things with recolors, honestly. Throughout the series, two packs have generally had recolors, anyways.
|BeyBouncer| Wrote:But why Hasbro couldn't release at least the Legends in the original colours ?

I believe they'll keep most of their Legend single packs in their original colours, although Hasbro regularly has some kind of tradition with double packs, which in this case would be their recolours. For instance, almost regularly happened throughout both Metal Fusion to Shogun Steel was that yes, they'd give the recolours, along with one of the Beyblades without their original pieces, like Ronin Dragoon SA165WSF, for say.

Throughout Metal Fusion and some of Metal Masters, as well, they went with those two traditions mentioned, along with the uncustomized Beyblade having a highlighted piece on the Clear Wheel, like Rock Orso or Storm Pegasus in their double packs with both Flame Aries H145FS and Rock Aquario 125SF, too.

On another note, I may decided to go tournament prize shopping for two events I'm hosting next week. Hopefully I'd be able to find some Legends, as Zankye was able to find two Fang Leone at my local one two weeks back.

I think both look great, trans parts are always awesome.

That SW145 looks amazing IMO especially paired with Salamanders olive green SD, the turquoise SD here looks amazing! The dark wolf has gorgeous trans parts and both have great clear wheels so I can't complain on it's looks.

At least their colour schemes are mostly one main colour rather a mosh mash of random colours.

Haha, it is terrible ... but at least the translucent blue Dark Wolf looks great. It's amazing how much better translucent parts usually look than the opaque ones Hasbro sometimes releases.
Blue Dark Wolf was always awesome.
I have to say that the dark wolf recolour is nice!
Even if theses two beys are awfull, I hope Hasbro will release a starter of Poison Serpent in the original colours, you know, nostalgia.

Not Shadow Strike Standoff, with Dark Wolf DF145FS and Ray Serpent M145MS? Like |Beybouncer| said, at least you get an SD in this, while if you get the other you just get holes punched in your Stadium.

While the recolors do look nice, it's still not worth getting if you already bought both Beyblades already.
Ya, when I heard about the balance two pack, I was crossing my fingers and praying to God there would an Earth Eagle re-release, so I'm kind of disappointed. But anyways, does anyone know when the non-Hyperblades single packs will be released in Ontario?

They were already found in Ontario, according to both Hb42's finds, and Zankye's unboxing and Beyhunting videos. I'm sure others from Ontario have found, although have just not posted about their finds.

EDIT: Misread your post, sorry!
Just to clarify that we were able to an Unboxing review of The beyblade Legends back in the end of June , only because Hasbro gave the beys to us for review, and so far we didn't found anywhere.

Ah, we appreciate the clarification. It does seem strange that those would be the first they would send you, yet the first they actually release in North America are 4D and basically not those.
It does seem strange i think that when they are selling would you rather go with metal fusion/metal masters or 4D hyperblades non spark fx i think maybe they want to go with the big guns first for the legends
Just got my hands in Death Quetz. found in my home town.
