General Hasbro BEYBLADE:Metal Fury/Shogun Steel/Beyblades Legends -FALL 2014 [HOBBY]

Hasbro's American. They're from a country that has people who sue for everything even if they're not in the right ("Microsoft cancelled my Xbox Live account because they said I violated their TOS, they can't do that!"). If some kid gets a Beyblade to the eye, and gets hurt, in court I wouldn't be surprised if someone argued that the cardboard could've been mistaken as packaging, and could have been easily thrown out.

What they could have done is bump up the age ratings for Takara stadiums while still creating their own for the younger audience.
Like they could seriously just take takara stadiums and include a stadium fence with them in a small package attached to the back. That fence looks no more intricate than a birthday hat from burger king...

Edit: They could include some sort of disclosure in the packaging for the fence. ie. We are not responsible for any bodily harm etc... use of mfb and mfb products is at your own risk. Then no lawsuits for them problem solved.
The ridge in the stadium looks like it works better then the TT attack stadium Confused

Lol soo true . there was this american guy who sued Kellogg's cereal because it said"THEYRRRREE GREEAAAT!" the guy said they were not great and that it was false advertisement lol. I don't care how the stadiums are. I'm not one to complain about the products themselves just the release date for the U.S.A.
Ugh, well my friend went to the Toys R us near the pickering flee market, and said they had none, then went to the Wal-Mart in the same plaza, and they had String Shooters, these fake ones, and The light up ones

so later, im gonna check out another wal-mart in pickering, and hope they have something >.>
Tried the online battle. My username is RockScorpio1234. The battle is OK and you get to customize your own beyblades. You get to choose from 12 face bolts, 16 energy rings, 6 fusion wheels, 14 spin tracks and 11 performance tips. You also earn points and gain levels. There are 5 stadiums and 2 of them are defence.
So I went to a couple of stores and found these in both.

Wal-Mart in Square 1 mississauga had them, but had a surprisingly small collection. It had half the retail shelf space as Battle Strikers. This will probably change soon. The Toys R US is Mississauga (Hurontario) also had them. What seems to be the most common items were the two bey packs, and the string launcher. I did see the stadium but did not pick it up. I'll post pics of my haul a little later.
If you live in Hamilton go to the Ancaster Walmart. They don't have single packs but they have the double packs and tons of launcher grips. I saw like 15-20 of them.
LOL, so, my friend, turned out to be wrong about the ''Fake Beyblades at Wal-Mart,

guess what,

they were just the Two-packs

FAIL.

were going back later to get them, and a grip
yeah it looks like stores are filled with double packs, Launcher grips and string launchers.
Both Wal-Marts in Barrie do not have Metal Fusion yet, and Toys R Us does, but no String Shooters or Launcher Grips. Here's what I picked up:

- Pegasus Thunder Whip BeyStadium
- Storm Pegasus 105RF
- Dark Bull H145SD
- Dark Gasher CH120FS

Photos:
Going to do some tests right now, should have some results posted in a couple hours.
Brilliant pics Kei, thank you very much; thoroughly informative. :]
Alright, I gotta admit, I like the Gasher sticker.
The extra colour looks pretty neat.

Argh, I wish I could find these.
The alternate sticker for Cancer Gasher looks good. I really like how they actually included the parts' names on the packages.

Great pics, Kei! Thanks Smile

too bad it's useless

"Semi-Defense steadies trajectory"
"Flat Spike controls the spin"
haha I laughed at some of the portuguese writings on the boxes. xD

Nice photos Kei, really looking forward to your results. Smile

you should see the ED description; I forget what it said exactly, but it implied that it was an offensive Track Speechless
Anyone try out the new string shooter? How does it compare to the TT bey launcher?
check the beyblade random thoughts thread. While not conclusive it's a first impression.
Thanks for the photo's Kei, looks like they've almost completely reworked the clear wheel for Cancer so the weight and balance should have completely changed.
Have you got an electronic scale that would weigh the Hasbro version?
The rubber change doesn't surprise me, Hasbro's rubber tips have always tended to be harder than the Takara originals.

No, sorry. I would have weighed them already if I had. Hopefully someone else can weigh them soon.
I'm going to disagree with Kei on the rubber. I have an open unused Takara Speg, and the rubber feels exactly the same. After use RF becomes softer, but out of the box it has a hard texture.

I don't believe SonoKong's are different from TAKARA-TOMY's, but out of the box the SonoKong RF and Hasbro RF did feel different to me. They were both hard, and maybe I am imaging things, but personally I found the Hasbro one to be just a tiny bit harder.
They probably used a more durable rubber, just like they use more durable plastic.
watch this for beyblade action in pegasis thunder whip stadium thx.
