General B-Daman Thread

Thunder=Dracyan...Lightning=Dravise...I hate to think what the rest is like...

And Dravise is now a Power-type? I praised Hasbro for getting things right the other day, now I regret it.

At least the Break Bomber field does have plastic walls this time.
frankly I'm glad to see them on us shelves finally. Hopefully the prices will come down now... Stickers don't bother me that much, if I don't like it then I can simply paint the designs I like into them. I cant stop cringing at that CGI version though (*shiver*). Interesting, is there something going on with the game stickers that are on them? Dracyan still has the same one from the looks of it but Orochi doesn't have the same design if at all.

I'm sure the arcade tags are going to be integrated into some kind of smartphone app, like the Break Bomber packaging states.

I'd rather pay a little extra for an imported one that does what it was designed to do, than get a budget Hasbro one which is heavily modified and isn't the same toy.

Where does it ever say 'Lightning Dravise?'... And where does it ever say it's power type?

None of the B-Daman look structurally modified. They're all the same toys, just with altered stickers.

*points at L-PegasusBlader* Ask him, he's the one who told me.

Regardless, the naming is terrible, and I'm really not keen on the stickers at all. I've always been wary of Hasbro's products until I've seen someone compare them to the TT original.
How terrible is the naming exactly?

I don't think it's all that bad. If Accele=Dracyan will be known as "Thunder Dracyan" in the US release, then so be it. It's a big change, but I'll get used to it eventually.
Thunder Dracyan?!? Ugh, there's no equals sign between the two!
Hmm, the marbles shot in the video sounded heavier than light plastic. Maybe they are normal b-dama, just in color. But on an unrelated note I welcome this. I could finally finish my cross fight collection. As long as they don't change anything to make them, "safer".

The marbles are likely the same as the ones the later Battle B-Daman came with. Plastic B-Dama with a metal center.
I doubt Hasbo is going to change the design of them, I think Hasbro is just a distributor, not a manufacturer. I could be wrong there though. And if they do then oh well, it will be some different cores in the mix, might even see something that TT hadnt done before. My biggest fear is shoddy mold quality, I have gotten more then one Battle B-Daman back in the day that the plastics were molded out of garbage and had holes or fracture lines.

I dont think this will be the case, all the videos Ive seen the Cross Fight B-Daman even if you max out the power equipment and everything you wont get anything that is more dangerous then any other. Definitely not on the level I have seen some Zero 2 B-Daman or god forbid another Turbo Striker Gemini (seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cr7L2hg8PIg)
Hasbro is just a distributor, not a manufacturer, so they could not possibly change the designs ? I cannot believe that you just posted that on the biggest Beyblade community website.
You're kidding! They mistakenly label Dravise as a flippin' POWER-Type?! How erroneous could they get?

way to alter what I said to make me sound like a douche bag... Here is what I really said:

Thank you for flying Arrogant Airlines, please be sure your seat-back and tray-table is in the uptight position while we land.

And I am indeed telling you that you are wrong, and that if you had paid attention to the Hasbro discussions on this Beyblade message board, you would not have made that comment ...

I was really just highlighting how ironic it was because it would have been a whole other context had it been a message board about basically anything else. For your information, I have never taken a plane, and it will not start now.
Strike Cobra, eh? Makes sense since Stroke=Orochi looks more like a cobra than the Yamato-no-Orochi that it is named after.
Quite amusing actually.

Beyblade: Orojya -> Orochi
B-Daman: Orochi -> Cobra

Almost like Hasbro didn't want a duplicate...

I would like you to point out where I said I wasnt wrong, I was correcting you on what I said. I accept I am wrong in my former belief that Hasbro is only a distributor.
I bought one of them 5 days ago and i got it yesterday and it is something wrong the balll wont stay in the loading thing
They LIE! Angry The walls of the Break Bomber stadium are still cardboard:

(Feel free to express your disappointment here)

A more official looking picture of Thunder Dracyan, also:

I have mixed feelings about the Dracyan... on the one hand it looks wrong, on the other I cant help but think that if they shifted the colors of the stickers a bit more orange or something then it would kinda resemble a throwback to Cobalt Blade, but it just looks off and I cant pin my finger on any one detail of it...

As for the Break Bomber, cardboard walls... wow it could only be worse if they released it with cardboard floors... oh wait... Tongue_out

I wonder if I can do some work to make the plastic walls of the old DHB stadium fit with the Break Bomber center-piece... assuming they are the same dimensions of course.
You know, Thunder Dracyan's sticker designs don't look too bad to me.
The marbles of Hasbro looks more solid than the Takara-Tomy's?
