Gaming Random Thoughts

They really do it so they can get a confirmed sale of the game, I think. It's a way to surely make money, know how many to produce or something, ect.

But yeah, that's really disappointing. I was hoping to get the game, but it sucks knowing I can't use a few things.
Capcom will be bringing Street Fighter X Tekken to the IOS over Summer.Street Fighter x Tekken will be only be compatible with iPhone 4/4S, iPod touch (fourth generation), iPad 2, and the new iPad (all running iOS 5 or higher).

Capcom:"Sales of Street Fighter X Tekken have fallen short of our plan,"..."We believe one of causes is cannibalism because of the large number of other games in this genre that were launched within a short time" A.K.A It didn't sell well because the Fighting Game Genre is too crowded. Thoughts?

How is Ghost Recon Future Soldier? I was thinking of picking up Special Ops:The Line when it comes out.
Capcom's porting that game everywhere. There's a Vita port in the pipeline that'll look and play infinitely better than the mobile version. I'm sure if those combined still miss Capcom's targets they'll even do a 3DS SKU.
I personally believe that when Tekken X Street Fighter (Made by Namco instead of Capcom) comes out. It'll probably beat Capcom's sales target. Because Namco is infinitely more reliable in my opinion. No on disc DLC.

Future Soldier is great in terms of campaign, gunsmithing is simple enough for everyone to understand yet complex enough to where on part can drastically alter gameplay. I love the ability to choose my weapon load out for each level, but some equipment choices are not up to you(Magnetic vison vs NVGs, Drone vs Support Mech). The reason I'm annoyed is because the Mk-14 is my favorite weapon in general, so I thought I'd be able to unlock it in the game, like many pre-orders, but I guess Ubisoft doesn't like doing that.
That's what I don't get. Why make a gun a pre-order bonus? It makes no sense And even if it is pre-order at least release it as an update or in a DLC pack or something. In my opinion the only pre-order bonus should be something people don't care about. Like a poster, that's what Black Ops 2's preorder bonus is anyway.
Everytime I play Minecraft I swear my computer turns into a lion. That thing "hurrs and durrs" so loud...it sounds like the car engine (okay, I'm exaggerating Tongue_out).

Need...a...better...computer...!
I haven't been on WBO for quite some time now... TF2 is just so addicting.

It's such a cool game.

And for anyone who plays it, what did you think about the Pyromania updates?

Meet the Pyro finally came out and i'm just more confused if it's a boy or a girl.
So, TopSpin4 is an old tennis game that I play. It was created in like, 2006. And I swear, this game glitches more than any other game that I've played...

First of all, when the players serve, the ball doesn't even come close to the racket for the serve...

Secondly, all of the impossible shots that can't be made by these players in real life, are made with ease. Wut...

And Lastly, every once in a while, the game glitches the players' wardrobes during the match, and it switches every few points. Totally weird...
Hey, have you guys heard of Custom-Made Dashboard themes for PS3?

I just put one with graphics and sound effects of .hack//G.U's in-game desktop, the whole ALTIMIT Mine thing, and I freakin' love it, it'll be perfect to play .hack//Versus when the damn game finally gets here. I hear there are a ton of those fan-made themes, too, I'll have to try a few of them out XD
So, I started play MapleStory again like what, 1 month ago? And after numerous all-nighters, I finally got my Spearman to become a Dark Knight Eee Finals are coming in 2 months though, better stop playing.
I really wish I had $10 right now. My local GameStop has the Sega Genesis Collection for PS2, and I'm dying to buy it. It has Phantasy Star!! Why must I be broke? Pinching_eyes_2

That game would be a lot better if it had Gunstar Heroes.

So I've been going through every Zelda game, and I'm finding that I absolutely love the 3DS' Circle Pad for the 2D games! I feel each game plays much more smoothly than a D-Pad or regular Joy Stick. I was obviously in the N64 generation when I was young, but I did play my parent's NES until like 98 or 99 when I got my N64. So I don't have that D-Pad experience like some people, but I have played through the first Zelda on my NES and Wii and I enjoy it much more on the 3DS. Same with Zelda II, except only on the Wii and 3DS; and same with A Link to the Past, except only on the Wii and 3DS. On the NES and Wii, I enjoyed the game, but on the 3DS, absolutely one of my favourite Zelda games (not the absolute favourite, but somewhere up high) because I love the way it plays.

I also like how on the 3DS, for games other than GBA games, I can just press the Home button and it will save my position so I don't always have to start from the starting screen, haha. For Minish Cap it doesn't do that, but it starts on a screen I'm okay with anyways.

Wouldn't that actually be the PS3 Slim 2? If they keep this up it'll get smaller than a MacBook.

If you mean downgraded as in they messed it up, the Digimon games are known for stranger digivolution lines. Also, I'm trying to get Dawn. All of my friends say I should pick Balance pack, which one do you prefer?

That's what I thought at first too, actually. I guess the one we call PS3 slim right now isn't actually officially called "slim"? Come to think of it, I don't recall that on the box of mine at all.

And like they said on that website, it's really just a cheaper console to produce thats purpose is to deter people from the Wii U, and/or keep them interested in Sony gaming.
The PS3 Slim: For when you need to start an electrical fire in your college dorm.

Seriously, though, every time Sony slims a console down they run into heat problems with the first manufacturing runs.
Oh, really? Thanks for the tip, then... I'll hold off on buying that thing Oo

Speaking of which, can I import my memory and saves and stuff on another PS3? Is that possible? '_'
I'm guessing through a USB stick? However, I'm not sure if the system allows that to prevent people sending purchased products to friends, etc.
There are rumors that Final Fantasy Versus XIII has been canceled. I don't believe this. It could have been renamed FFXV but I don't believe SE would drop that much money on this to can it.

Yes, there's a data transfer utility in the XMB buried in the Settings icon. It'll bring over saves and stuff. I'm not sure if it'll transfer PSN games, but since those are account based (meaning you can download them as many times as you'd like) who really cares. Do note though that some games have locked saves that can't be transfered this way. The only way those can be moved is if you have PS+ and use the Cloud Saving option. Locked saves are usually done so people can't post them online, or tamper with them. Here's a good tutorial on what you'll need to do.

Sticking a hard-drive into a PS3 will automatically ask it to reformat it.
FFXIII Versus cancelled?

Yeah, I call BS. No way someone like SE would drop a buttload of money down on this project... And dump it. How long have they been working on it?
I'd bring up MML3 and how Capcom cut it, but it wasn't anywhere near the cost to produce FFXIII Versus, plus it was in a much earlier stage.

Unless SE and Capcom are secretly in league together now. (May God help us all.)

Speaking of FF, I've been playing the 4 Heroes of Light, and I thoroughly enjoy it Grin As you level up, so does the difficulty level (does that even make sense?) and the final boss at level 99 is a REAL challange for me, even with the most OP stuff in the game.
Used all 9000 of my Multiplayer/defeating bosses points on the Hercules axe.
Well.
Uhm.
Yeah.
It has 50 attack (which is arguable the best attack for any weapon in the game) however, it has a 10% chance of hitting.
Yeah, you heard me, 10%.
It made me so furious when I found that out I almost broke my 3DS. I'm getting closer to beating Chaos in his third form, but hot damn, I just can't catch a break. He's so damn powerful, and I'm sure that once I defeat his arms there will be more things to beat. Ugh.
I can see them doing the same thing they did to Agito, which is rename it so it's no longer with the Final Fantasy XIII branding. With the amount of money spent, and time this game has been in development I doubt anyone would cry if it was released as Final Fantasy XV. The XIII branding is poison anyways, so it's best to move away from that outside of the inevitable XIII-3.
Japan stop making PSP games I want to play but can't because I don't understand Japanese
