Gaming Random Thoughts

I looked at it and I don't think it was bootleg though. It looked completly authentic, it has nintendo on it and everything. Doesn't matter much though. I've got Heart gold so i've decided not to get it and use the money towards pokemon
The bootleggers have gotten incredibly accurate with their copies, for example:

Could you tell which one is fake without looking at both incredibly carefully? I know I couldn't (assuming the ESRB logo is just a scratch on the sticker). Counterfeit products are actually a big problem for Nintendo, to the point where they've set up a website for tips, and the ability to report people.

I'd be very wary buying any GBA, or DS games off of eBay, or other similar auction sites.
why is it that people complain about sonic? Seriously what is the deal about it i mean no one complains about mario or zelda its just....sonic cananyone explain to me what the big deal is?

It's because 1/3 of the games (Especially the most recent ones) suck.

Actually, it's probably just that people expect more, better.

I cracked it open and it looks very similar to the counterfeit one in the picture.

I believe it's because there hasn't been any good games since Sonic Heroes. Unless you count the GBA, and DS games. Oh, and Sonic Colors.
Sonic Heroes is not a good game. It's so bland, and the game often hits a stand still due to glitches.

I liked it. Sure, the team thing sucks, but it's still kinda fun. I never noticed any glitches. Which version did that happen to you in? I use the Gamecube version and I see no glitches.
Apparently there is a new Video Game store opening up soon down the street from my house. My brother in law saw the sign. It's supposed to sell Comics and Video Games. Sounds like my kind of store! XD I'm just hoping that they sell old Video Games. After all, I'm looking for a SEGA Dreamcast. (I'm still saving up for it.) So yeah, I'm just hoping that they'll sell old systems and games, and the Sonic The Hedgehog comic series. Then, that store will be perfect!! XD Lol. There used to be a store down the street from me that sold old systems and games, but they went out of business 2 years ago. I'm not sure why. I think the owner had too many health prolbems. But he was only in his 40's. This new store is opening up right next to where that old store was. I CAN'T WAIT!! XD

If they sell old games, I'm definitely gonna shop there on the opening day! XD

Thats an incorrect fraction. All of the sonic games that are not adventure or adventure 2 suck. Execept for 2006 it was so bad it was awsome

That's actually a matter of opinion. You have to go by the overall critique ratings and the sales charts.
Kaioken, stop bashing things for no good reason, just because of your OPNION.

NOTE: I am agreeing with Beyheart on this, I read his post.
I started replaying Megaman Legends.

I'm starting to wonder why I thought this was the game series that would push me to buy a 3DS...

He is free to post his opinion of Sonic games regardless of whether or not you believe he is right. If he wanted to he could say all Sknic games are terrible. You can tell him he's wrong, but that's his preference. Even if he is wrong don't tell him not to post his opinion, just correct him when he's wrong.
is psn down for anyone else? i havent been able to sign in since thursday night
Quote:We sincerely regret that PlayStation Network and Qriocity services have been suspended, and we are working around the clock to bring them both back online. Our efforts to resolve this matter involve re-building our system to further strengthen our network infrastructure. Though this task is time-consuming, we decided it was worth the time necessary to provide the system with additional security.

We thank you for your patience to date and ask for a little more while we move towards completion of this project. We will continue to give you updates as they become available.

Apparently there was a hack that allowed CFW PS3s to enter the PSN Store and get everything for free. That would be a cause for concern for Sony, and would require shutting down everything to be rebuilt.

Hackers ruining it for most of everyone. I couldn't even buy some DLC I wanted.
French site that has basically been on the money with NGP rumors, and was the first to say Project Cafe (which has been indirectly confirmed by Nintendo thanks to a developer site mishap) says this mockup is the closest to the actual controller of the new Nintendo platform:

Nintendo is apparently serious at getting the hardcore gaming community back on board with this.

Good luck with a platform that will be obsolete in 3 years, and a controller that looks about as unergonomic as can be.
@SKTongue_outSN WAS HACKED BY THE NET-TERRORIST GROUP ANONYMUS!
@To: MEGAMAN LEGEND 1 & 2 WERE AMAZING AND MML3 WILL BE TOO-WATCH THE TRAILERS AND DON'T BE HATIN' ON DA BLUE BOMBA!!!
No need to keep the capslock on little buddy.

As for MML3, the problem is I've actually been watching the trailers, and the game looks extremely rough. Nor do I care for Capcom making people pay to do their gameplay testing.
Grr... Sorry about my yelling(?), but MML3 is riding on the tech demo release...
Nintendo got the idea of two sticks from Sony.

Without Nintendo, there'd be no Playstation. Now think about that.

What does that have to do with the sticks?

No Nintendo = No Playstation.
No Playstation = No PSP = no sticks

Once To logs on he should be able to clear things up.
