So, I downloaded the demo for "Catherine" the newest game by Atlus, the company that made many great games, most notably the Persona series, on the Japanese Playstation Network.
I was surprised, actually. The gameplay itself is just moving boxes. Really. You move boxes to get up stairs to escape Hell (That's pretty much what it is) While that does sound incredibly lame, it's actually pretty good, because thhe game makes it really heart-pounding, with great music, terribly scary atmosphere and just little elements to scare you, like
giant arms holding a fork with huge bloody nails that tries to kill you. The rest of the game takes place during various cutscenes, which themselves might be interesting if I understood a single word of Japanese (Which I don't) Unless they localize it (Which a guy from Atlus told me via e-mail they were strongly considering) I won't be buying it. Fun game, but with so much dialogue, I can't go with this.
