And even more I've forgotten, and a ton I'm sure I've never played.
And of course, there are some remakes, and they're pretty good.

Hell, just go to Metacritic, they've got a pretty good list for you.
The GBA was fun, but it was not the powerhouse that the DS is.

Anyways, Superstore sold Dragon Quest IX a day early, so I've been playing it for a bit and it is really good. Smile
So many games on your list suck.
Did you seriously put Ranger/Ranger 2?

Yes, and when Ranger 3 comes out I'd likely put it on the list as well. I have enjoyed the Ranger games for what they are, they're decent fun.

And if you seriously say that 'so many' games on the list suck, you must have the highest expectations for what a "good" game is.
It's ridiculous, you're worse than Pichuscute was.
It's really no use continuing this conversation then.

If you honestly thought pokemon ranger was good, I'll try not to read any of your posts ever again.

Sounds good.
If you add me to the "Ignore" list, then the forums won't show you any of the posts I make.
It'll make it a lot easier Smile
I'll do likewise!!

(BTW, reading that list of yours, Pretty much every game I'd rather have a DS version of. If a DS version exists, I like it better.
I laugh at some of the choices you wrote, but then insulted games on my list.
At least you had the good decency to put Mother 3 on there)
Have fun.
The Pheonix Wright games are remakes, btw.

Hey, hey. Let's not fight and work this out.
Also, the Classic NES series are just ports, they aren't remakes in the slightest.

I figured I'd just lump them in.

I know, But I didn't really feel right leaving them off the list because they are honestly the most obscure remakes I've ever seen.

I've never talked to anyone who knew about the games before the DS.
But I digress...

But thinking about it, I probably won't be posting in the Games forum anymore.
The only reason I come to WBO any more is for Bey news, and I have other forums to go to for gaming discussion. Also so many people I like talking to have left/don't talk very much so not much incentive to keep checking this topic.
Well, I think you both were getting into arguments over nothing. The GBA's games will stand the test of time because for the most part, they're 2D titles. The DS on the otherhand had incredibly dated visuals with its 3D titles at launch. But the DS has a much larger, and deeper library than the GBA. The GBA of this generation is the PSP (not that most of its games are 2D, just that the genres on each are similar, and they reached a point where visuals look good years later). While the DS, is well, the DS.
I can officially say I fail at life.
I still haven't finished LoZ:TP, even though I'm about 99.9% of the way through, and I've started my file like last summer.
The only thing stopping me is my laziness.
Which shows how lazy I am.
Playing Dragon Quest V until IX... That kid is a badass, he just walks into caves and ghost houses and he's like 5 years old.

It has to be that purple turban.

Don't you know? 5 year olds in RPGs are equivalent to 20 year olds irl.
PSP Next is rumored to be using Nvidia's Tegra 2 chipset. The original Tegra was rumored to be powering the 3DS, but that wasn't the case. Sony continues to do what Nintendon't.

Apparently Sony desperately needs to bring out Next. Peace Walker's debut month in the US was 52,000. I know I sound like an annoying broken record. But jeeze.
A couple months ago I beat Emerald version with just a Taillow.
Yayyyyy solo runs.

I think my Rattata is in the top percent of Rattata.
After much research and testing, gamers (and scientists) conclude that the console to take the most hits before it's unable to work is the GameCube.
I thought it was gonna be the original Xbox for sure...

Nah, Nintendo usually makes the sturdiest hardware. Anyways, I'm requesting a source. I want to see this for myself.

My brother? haha.
He showed me these videos:

Apparently they only tested the 'old' consoles; the Xbox (Original), PS2, and GameCube.
I also found this board:

Wow, I'm surprised that the Gamecube worked even when it was broken in half.
Seriously, must be tough stuff.
I wonder if someone will test the Wii, PS3 and 360?
