loads of movies within the past year have been in 3D

OK, reading through my last..... 1 post, I do sound kinda retarded saying this. I forgot about the stupid paper glasses for a second, sorry.

Plus I'm ridiculously tired at the moment, mainly because I was up till midnight watching cheap rubbish on sport relief. I only wanted to watch the James Corden sketch, but got dragged into everything else. Worth it though, it was ruddy hilarious. Forgive me for being *yawn* ummm......

zzzzZZZZZZ zzzzzzzZZZZZZZ
The 3DS doesn't use glasses.
sorry, doesn't the 3DS sound awful to anyone else? I was hoping for DS2 or something...
I thought 3DS was quite a cool play on DS and 3D ... but still, the actual idea, not convinced yet.

It's a temporary code name.

I'm a tad skeptical about the idea, and I'm sure for the first 6 months after releasse, we'll get shovelware minigames that revolve around "IT'S 3D NOW!"
I'm sure Nintendo will at least make good use of the new technology. I just hope some 3rd parties get some good ideas flowing.
No lol, I mean the idea of a 3d console, instead of higher def graphics, multi touch anything really. 3d doesn't really appeal to me.

Haha, whoops.
I thought you were referring to the name.

Well yeah, I'm not huge into 3D gaming, it's kind of interesting, but I'd rather they put their efforts into improving the other aspects of the DS.
I will honestly laugh very hard if it's announced to just be a DSlite, or DSi with a 3D equipped display on it.
While I was looking up the new Zelda game, I found Miyamoto saying something about using the Vitality Sensor for Zelda Wii. He said: "So maybe you might like to ask me to incorporate the Vitality Sensor into Zelda, so that as you become more scared, the enemies become even tougher,". That sounds very cool.

Also, the 3DS is going to be the next in Nintendo's portable systems. But, like everything else, it will have backward compatibility with DS and DSi games.

Unfortunately, it probably won't have backwards compatability with the GBA games. They're killing one of their best-selling game series (Pokemon) this way!
No, it probably won't.
You know the Sega Neptune, right? Well, there are only two empty shells in existence.

I'll hold out for Carnival Games 3D
i'm getting Fifa world cup 2010 when it gets released next month. will be my 5th football game on ps3. Yes i'm a idiot lol
It's interesting that Nintendo chose to announce this now, instead of at E3. It is similar to what they did with the announcement MotionPlus to preempt Sony and Microsoft announcements that year.

Obviously not sold on the 3DS yet, but it should be interesting to see what they've got.

I hope that you mean football in the European sense (soccer in the U.S.) sense.

And I'm getting that game too. Love soccer!

yeah i do. there's only one football, the other one should be called handball #2 lol

i already have:
fifa 2008
pro evolution soccer 2008
euro 2008
fifa 2009
fifa 2010

lol. so the worldcup game will actually be my 6th football game, not 5th haha

With that in mind, the 3DS will be utilized by both Nintendo, and third parties very little.
Sell 08 and 09 nine then, it's not like you'll play them alot.

I tried that: on the reset it says (£)0.01p beside the game if your selling it at a store

Honestly, its not worth it because no-one else wants them and they cant shift any

I mean, you wouldn't go and buy FIFA 03 today would you because of new players and strips, etc.

lol. i'd use more money on gas driving to gamestop than what i would get if i sold them. both are outdated
Anyone here looking forward to Naruto ultimate Ninja Storm 2?

Nintendo can slap a pokemon title on anything and it'll sell amazingly. They know this and have done for a while...

Pokemon will never "die". It'll cease to be good, but it'll still sell well and be very much alive.

oh carp, looks like i'll be getting two new football games in the coming months lol
I'm playing Link's Crossbow Training while Sonic Gems Collection is on pause so I can unlock more things in the Museum. (I have my Gamecube hooked up to my mini DVD player, if you're wondering how I'm playing to games at once.) And while playing Crossbow, I found a spelling error! It says:

Quote:A swarm of Kargaroks is attacking!
Defend yourself!

They put is instead of and! I have an early NTSC version, so it may be fixed in later games or not in the PAL version at all.
