So what do you guys think of heavy rain? I'm considering buying it just for the experience.
Finished up BioShock 2.
Got the "best" ending.

You know what? I think I liked it better than the first one.
Of course the first game will always hold a place in my heart, but as an overall experience, I think BioShock 2 was better.

Will definitely be playing through again.
Now I can finally look through the art book without fears of spoilers.

I played the demo at a friend's house and it was a really immersive experience. I'll pick it up, but I got to go through some more back catalog games first.

I just finished it as well and got the "good" ending.

The game was great all the way through, some really interesting/diverse design choices. The story starts off almost painfully slow, but by the end of the game I had all kinds of philosophical questions whizzing through my head. It's definitely a thought provoking narrative, and I plan on writing up some thoughts on the more philosophical aspects of both the first and second games.

I don't think it was as good as the first game, simply because it was lacking that sense of mystery and suspense that the first game had. That was more due to the fact that I had already explored Rapture so much in the first game than it was anything to do with the design of the second one.

Also, everyone is saying that they prefer the new hacking mini-game but honestly I hate it, and it was the one thing that consistently annoyed me throughout the entire game.

However, the music was absolutely incredible all the way through. Overall I'm pretty impressed with the game, and definitely don't regret buying it.

Thank you, I hated that part. I missed the tubes and "Welcome to the Circus of Value!"
1UP had a leaked video of sonic 4, however it was removed. I have found it again on screwattack though.

Yeah, it's on Sonic Retro too. Looks good apart from the bugs but given it's and alpha beta version that's understandable. Also apparently it's been given to DiMPs which imo is a good thing, they made Sonic Advance and Sonic Rush.
The person playing it is really rubbish lol.
My bro got the 360 elite a few weeks ago because the other one was my other brothers and he said no to playing on it a lot so he went and got his own after saving up and it's great because he lets me pretty much play on it whenever, when he is not playing on it himself. The only down fall is that I have now got to work on my Gamer points again, which is a pain but it is something to do.

Also, I can now finish some songs on Guitar Hero in expert now, it's still pretty hard but fun at the same time. It's a shame that a few of my favourite songs are to hard at the moment and I can't get through them but I am sure I will one day.

Edit: Also, yesterday my Brother looked up old games and he said that the original Mega Man we have for the NES that is still in it's box is worth up to £60 which was a surprise.
Ahh, it's so good to see Sonic going back to its rotts. Hopefully Sega can get back on its feet again with all the good games that they are making atm.

I repaired and replaced my Pokemon Silver's battery yesterday. Ahh, it's so good to see Pokemon Silver save once again. It has made me hyped for HG/SS (I hope they're good!)

I really need to get around to doing this. My gold battery died well over a year ago, and I would like to breath some life back into it.
The Tester is hilarious.
Quote:The video displays four of the zones to be included into episode 1 by the names of Splash Hill Zone, Lost Labyrinth Zone, Casino Street Zone and Mad Gear Zone.
They're trying too hard.

Something about the way Sonic jumps in this game really bothers me, but i'm sure i'll get over it xD

Wait, you can replace the batteries in old GBC Carts?
You can, but it isn't an intuitive process. You need a steady hand, and for best results a soldering iron.

How are they trying too hard? Hill, Labyrinth, Casino and space station are staples of sonic.
So yesterday, I got a NES! But, unfortunately, the games didn't come with it! I found a website http://www.nintendosforsale.com/ that has a package: They're refurbished NES (They put in a 72 pin connector) with Super Mario Bros. 1, 2, and 3. But THE GAMES CAME SEPARATELY!

Aside from that, it must not even weigh a pound. It's light! And on the back of it, it has an AV cable plug, a RF switch, and a switch for Channel 3 or Channel 4! That's so old!
So, I very happy with it, but I wish I only had some games!

Exactly. They're trying too hard to get back to his roots, i mean.
Finally, How many act do they show anyway?
I don't care if they want to get to his roots; I've played every 2-D Sonic game, and haven't been dissapointed yet. Although, any idea on when it will come out?
Bayonetta is quite possibly the most ridiculous game I have ever played and yet I'm loving every second of it. Lol

Four zones, three acts each. Though we should probably move this to my sonic topic lol
You know what I’d like to see the rise of once again? Arcades. I missed out on the whole arcade craze since I was born in the 90's, but I’ve recently been visiting my local arcade and spending all my change on games like Time Crisis, Guitar Hero, and even the ball-in-hoop thing. I can easily waste money within a matter of minutes. Tongue_out Where I live is a seaside town which was once a successful holiday resort that competed with Blackpool before everybody travelled abroad. The result in the sudden drop of visitors has left the town run down and full of old amusements, such as Arcades. I think arcades are true examples of social gaming, and I really hope that somehow they once rise in popularity.
Out of interest: How many of you visit your local arcades? I visit mine about every two weeks.

I just realised when typing this I’ve already mentioned something similar to this, but oh well … :L
YES. I wish I could get to them more often. Don't see the point of playing GH there though lol.
