They are both silly names if you ask me. Anyways, it's hinted that Robotnik is a last name (Dr. Gerald Robotnik, his grandfather and Maria Robotnik, Gerald's grandaughter). So his actual name could be [insert firstname here] "Eggman" Robotnik.

EDIT: Eggman being a nickname or what he calls himself. I don't think I made that clear. Sort of like boxing; Muhammad "Louiseville Lip" Ali. Get it?

Your sarcasm isn't wanted. As it makes it seem like this only happens when Sony gets a big IP on the PS3.

Especially since the PS3 is often neck and neck with the Wii for being the top selling console. Both usually are around the 14-16,000 a week without a major title. It's just incredibly odd for a console to defeat both handhelds. It just never happens. Especially for the one with the largest price tag.

Also to note: Yakuza 3's first week sales are already better then Star Ocean 4's, and Tales Of Vesperia's life time to dates in Japan (as Yakuza 3 has only been released in Japan).

First week sales for the Yakuza franchise:

Yakuza - 133,399 (PS2)
Yakuza 2 - 285,182 (PS2)
Yakuza Kenzan! - 175,764 (PS3)
Yakuza 3 - 378,000 (PS3)

I'm making a stink because I hope SEGA gets to translating Kenzan, and 3. Since the first two are part of those 50-70 PS2 games that I need to finish.

yeah, even though i like killzone 2 more now, the amount i played cod4 a year ago was insane. i remember one day i even skipped school just to play it lol

btw i checked the kz2 ranking board thing last night, i'm closing in on you lol, already have more points. now all i need is 50 more kills or something (you have like 100 deaths more than me :p)

I've never yelled more obscenities than when playing Gradius Rebirth.

That game is killing my soul more than Contra ever could. I must have a death count of 150++ and I haven't been able to beat the 2nd level yet.

And one good M rated game doesn't make the Wii hardcore, and the Wii won't become hardcore. It's still a casual market item. I could say that the PS3 is a kiddie console because games like Kung-Fu Panda and Little Big Planet are rated E, and only kiddie consoles get E rated games. Sounds pretty ignorant doesn't it?

I realize you're a pretty heavy fanboy over your consoles, but seriously, you need to stop eventually and realize that trying to convince people that your console is the 'bestest of them all' isn't necessary, it just makes you look foolish.

Alternatively, go to GameFAQs, they have lots of fanboys over there. A great place to fawn over the latest games and call anyone who gives them a bad review a moron.
