Forge Disc - D84 - 3A-D

D84, also known as 3A-D is a Forge Disc released as part of the Speedstorm System. It debuted with the release of Raid Luinor 3A-D Destroyer-SPM.

==Description==

D84, also known as 3A-D is a Forge Disc that is meant to match the shape of the Raid layer base. It is composed of a metal center, with a plastic outer portion riveted to it. It is very jagged and spiky, having four main plastic contact points, two of which point downward each.

Despite it's aggressive shape, however, it is one of the lighter Forge Discs that are made to resemble a Chassis, weighing almost as much as a Forge Disc from the Dual Layer era, and does not effectively stick out on most layers to provide use for its contact points. Unlike its Takara Tomy counterpart, the 3A Chassis, it does not provide the Raid Energy Layer base or any other Energy Layer with extra attacking power. It also cannot hold a frame to increase its weight, so it is stuck being light. It also does not provide any other benefits outside of Attack combinations.

==Use in Attack Combinations==

3A-D has a small synergy with Luinor L2, as the attacking points on 3A-D are exposed from beneath the layer. It can be used in the combination Luinor L2 3A-D Xtreme/Hunter-S. However, this combination is not ideal, as Luinor L2 is far too light to stand any chance in the current metagame.

=Overall==

The 3A-D Forge Disc, despite resembling a top-tier Chassis, is rather light and ineffectual in Attack combinations. It's shape is only suited for the Luinor line, and even if you were to use it on a Luinor Energy Layer, there are many better options, even for a Hasbro based metagame. Thus, 3A-D should be considered for collection purposes only.
