Finally got around chapter 1
Chapter 1: Pandora’s box
We now focus on our main protagonist, Arashi Tsukishima and his friend Athena Walhalla, together they are going to prove that the impossible can be done and they are going to breach the barrier of the divine realm, but enough from me. “Athena would you be a good friend and pass me the photon accelerator and the particle splicer?” Athena complied and did so. Once Arashi finished placing the photon accelerator and the particle splicer the machine whirred, but nothing happened. “Did you forget the batteries,” Athena said while holding up the batteries.
“Oh come on, it’s always the batteries,” Arashi exclaimed in a disappointed tone. After snapping in the battery they got into the ship and there was a whir followed by a flash and then there was nothing. While traveling to the divine realm one sees the various sorts of demons that they will encounter on their journey, but while the other demons couldn’t touch the duo one stood out and was reaching out of the abyss creeping ever so slightly telling them I will be back before they reached the divine realm. Once there they were greeted by shocked reception from the local gods (myself included) who had never seen a mortal there before. The god of children’s card games said, “hey who let these little punks in.” After much commotion the head goddess, Adeona called them into the gods counsel, it was there they saw another human who went by the name of Jojo Apoloian and her huskie Chai. At this point Arashi noticed and exclaimed “Jojo, how did you get here! It took me and Athena five years and two months so how did you get here without help!”
“If you really want to know, it’s just that you two aren’t me, now let’s hear what these gods have to say,” Jojo said in a condescending tone. “Now do you know why you’re here, mortals?” Adeona said.
“We’re here because we have breached the divine barrier right?” Athena replied.
“That is correct, while it seems harmless what you have done is release demons down into your world and while you can’t fight them now you will each be granted one power to fight off these demons, in addition you will all be assigned these things we call beyblades that will allow you to contact us gods for help, fight certain demons, and teleport between the mortal realm and the divine realm.” Adeona said.
Athena interrupted “don’t want to be rude, but why can’t you fight them yourselves?”
“We gods can’t go into the mortal realm due to something known as the divine barrier. As such Arashi will have the Beyblade representing the Angel Ariel, Jojo will be assigned to the Beyblade represented by the water god salamander, and I will personally look after Athena, now choose your powers.”
Athena told Adeona “I would like the power to be able to guide anyone to something”
Arashi froze in place and stuttered “I-I-I would like the umm power to umm stop time!”
Jojo responded with “I would like to make spirits come to life and serve me as I please.”
“Very well, now that everything has been set you may begin your quest” Adeona said before sending the trio down to the mortal realm.
