fav anime characters?

Hello, I am opening this thread to discuss about favorite characters among all animations, not only Beyblade! :-)

Who is your favorite character?

My favorite character ever is Tohka Yatogami.

That is a very hard question.

I cannot name a top 1 favorite character, because there are just too many characters I know and like in gerenal and from animations.

But here some characters that are probably at least in my top 50 of all time (Name - Show/Movie):

Kakashi, Naruto - Naruto
Killua, Hisoka - HxH
Ryuga, Kyoya, Tsubasa - Beyblade Metal Fight
Levi - Attack on Titan
Toph, Iroh - Avatar The Last Airbender
Asterix and Obelix - Asterix movies
Baymax - Big Hero 6
Toothless - How to train your Dragon
Master Oogway and Shifo - Kung Fu Panda Movies
Hades - Hercules (Disney)
Jack Frost Rise of the Guardians
Scrat - Ice Age Franchise
Batman - from the Lego Movies
Rapunzel and Flynn Rider - Tangled
Eric Cartman and Randy Marsh - South Park
Ahsoka Tano and Obi-Wan Kenobi - Star Wars Franchise
WALLE - WALLE

2. L Lawliet (Death Note)
3. Killua Zoldyck (Hunter X Hunter)
4. Lelouch Vi Britannia/Lelouch Lamperouge (Code Geass)

Why Sumi and not Chizuru? 🤔

I've got my own opinions, I like Sumi's shy personality. Chizuru was good early on but when you read the manga everything just falls apart.

I didn't read the manga, I am watching the second season of the anime

I didn't read the manga, I am watching the second season of the anime

Then PLEASE don't if you don't want the experience ruined. Literally 240+ chapters of no progress between Kazuya and his significant others.

Our lists are pretty similar except I'm not really a Levi fan in AOT I prefer Eren due to his character growth and especially after reading the manga and understanding why he did what he did though I can see why you would prefer Levi, I did as well from season 1-3 but when 4 hit that's when I fell in love with Eren's character.

My favorite character is Chika Fujiwara but my top 5 would probably be

1. Chika Fujiwara (Kaguya Sama: Love Is War)
2. Izuku Midoriya (My Hero Academia)
3. Kurosaki Ichigo (Bleach)
4. Sasuke Uchiha (Naruto)
5. Shoto Todoroki (My Hero Academia)

In Beyblade, my favorite is Shu Kurenai. I know he's overrated but I think he's written very well and I really like guys who are cool and cold on the outside but very caring on the inside.

But my favorite character ever is Chiaki Morisawa from Ensemble Stars. I'm not into shounen protag type, but I think his personality is the best and he's just so lovable. He's like this cheerful guy on a surface level, but deep down he's very empathetic, heroic, and quite smart himself. What made me love him is that he has been on his worst, and it's so satisfying to read about him overcoming it (kinda like Shu too). And my reaction to him being a bookworm is like my reaction to Shu cooking, both things that I don't expect them to do which makes me just love them even more.
