I get that they have to alter and tinker with the designs a little so that they are more appealing to modern audiences and can work with Burst, but this whole release is a nostalgia play, and I could see some older fans bothered with the tip color not matching what they remember of the original Dragoon S.
But then again, the layers are probably enough to bring in all the older fans anyway. But I do think using the Dragoon F bitchip would be a big mistake. I'd argue the Dragoon S bitchip is the most iconic image of Dragoon. I would always see Dragoon in that sick cross arm pose in so many promotional materials for Beyblade during that time.
