Tornado Eagle is a Hasbro-only, Tornado Battler Beyblade that uses the Extreme Top System. It was released Fall 2011 in the United States
Description
Tornado Eagle is taller than normal Beyblades and is designed for angled attacks. It can move out of Beystadium penalty pockets and has a narrow Tip for Endurance.
Face Bolt: Eagle
The Face Bolt on this Tornado Battler depicts Aquilla, one of the 88 constellations in space. Aquilla may also represent Zeus' pet Eagle in Greek Mythology. It cannot be disassembled due to no ridges or screw-ins.
Energy Ring: Eagle
The Eagle Energy Ring is exactly the same as L-Drago's Energy Ring and Pegasus's Energy Ring, exept Eagle's Energy Ring is a dark purple.
Fusion Wheel: Tornado Eagle
The Tornado Eagle Fusion Wheel has six blades pointing up instead of out, so the Tornado Eagle Fusion Wheel is almost perfectly round. However, when attacking from the side the Tornado Eagle Fusion Wheel suffers from mild recoil.
Spin Track
This Spin Track is the same basic Tornado Battler height, but features small blades on top of the tip that cause recoil. Above this are what seem to be "claws" or tornado slashes. These bumps can be dented by normal Performance Top System Beyblades, thus resulting in un-balacing the Beyblade.
Performance Tip: Narrow Defense
This Performance Tip is Narrow Defense. It provides a semi-aggressive movement pattern. ND exhibits increased Defense over the Sharp and Defense Performance Tips due to the increased friction. The downside is that Stamina is decreased and causes the Beyblade to move around more, exposing it to an Attack type. The trade-off in stamina for stability makes it inferior to SD and WD in terms of Stamina.
