It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-188 Astral Spriggan Customize Seton August 7th, 2021.
==Description==
The S Gear somewhat resembles the Astral Blade, featuring 4 blades that faces its spin direction. As an evolution gear, it is meant to added into a piece of Dynamite/Dangerous Belial, in this case, the Nexus Disc and the disc like portion of Almight.
When set in its face-up position, the four tabs of the S Gear lock into four grooves on Nexus/Almight, becoming fixed in place. When set in its face-down position, there are no tabs and thus the S Gear can free-spin on Nexus/Almight. Like other DB Discs, when paired with standard height Performance Tips, it has a scrape risk.
Comparing the 2, Nexus+S has slightly greater success due to its compatibility with Performance tips, while Almight’s taller height may help the S Gear’s Attack/Defense prowess, in truth Almight’s overall niche gimmicks make it not really worth using.
==Overall==
The S Gear’s 2 modes makes the otherwise outclass Nexus viable, with the fixed mode finding use in Attack combinations while the free spin mode finds use on tall stamina oriented tips such as Mobius and Bearing'.
As such, the S Gear is a must have for competitive bladers.
