[Draft]  Layer Base - Zwei (Takara Tomy)

Zwei (ツヴァイ, Tsuvuai) is a Layer Base released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Gatinko Layer System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-144 Booster Zwei Longinus Drake Spiral' Metsu on June 22nd, 2019. (Note: My Zwei is worn, so I cant test combos with it, plus I have very limited part selection)
==Description==
Zwei, unlike its predecessor Bloody Longinus, is a left spin layer base that features two metal dragon heads on the side and two upper blades consisting of another blade continuing the upper blade.

Like it's predecessors, Lost Longinus and Nightmare Longinus, the shape is designed to have heavy recoil and produce upper attacks. The weight on the heads make this Layer Base capable of having Knock-Out potential and also Burst potential. As such, Zwei excels at attack combinations.
==Use in Attack Combinations==
Zwei can be used in the attack combination Zwei Diabolos I/Longinus/Spriggan Drake/Sting/Blitz Destroy'/Xtreme'/Quick' Zan/Goku. The strong teeth of the chips, along with the heavy weight of the discs and layer weights of choice provide more weight to the combination. And the high attack power and speed Destroy'/Quick'/Xtreme' has further bolsters the attack power and adds more burst resistance because of the golden spring within the Performance Tip.
==Overall==
Zwei's heavy weight and power made it one of the best layer bases during the time of the Gatinko Layer System. However, with the release of Rage and 3A, which perform equal to or better than Zwei, it has become outclassed.

As such, Zwei is not a must have but is still a welcome addition to any blader's collection.
Do you own it?

Also Zwei is used by bald people? lol

Recoil isn't seen as a positive thing, so a Layer Base wouldn't be designed to have it.

Also, Zwei Longinus is not *unlike* Bloody Longinus, as both are left-spin layers with metal dragon heads.

But you need recoil for attack. If there's no recoil, the beys would simply slide off each other and not affect the other at all.

Recoil and attack are two different things, though. You don't want recoil - you want to impose it, or rather, you want to be more resistant to it than the other Bey is.

Impact happens both ways - when you hit something, it's also hitting you. In the context of Beyblades hitting each other, ideally your Bey is generating enough force to follow through with the hit. This requires rotational inertia. If you don't have enough of it, your Bey gets blown back by its own hit. It's the equivalent of punching someone in the face, but instead of them getting knocked back, it's you.

Recoil often leads to hitting the wall or self-KOs.

The Longinus line's strength is in their weight/distribution helping them have more rotational inertia but also more resistance to recoil. They hit hard, and against lighter Attack types, are more resistant to recoil from their own hits. This is partly what makes them devastating, and why they can be dominant in their respective generations.
