Knight (ナイト, Naito) is a DB Core released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Dynamite Battle Layer System and the Burst Ultimate Layer Series. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-202 Random Booster Vol. 30 on September 10th, 2022.
==Description==
Knight, like its predecessor Air Knight, is a DB Core which depicts a knight's helmet, albeit in a front facing view rather its predecessor's side view. As part of the Dynamite Battle Layer System, it can be used in Low/High Mode on any Right/Dual Spin DB/BU Blade and Armor.
Knight also features gimmicks; firstly, like Xcalibur, it features 4 grooves that are meant to interact with BU Lock disc such as Xanthus or Moon, which increases the Burst Resistance of the Core and makes it more stable. Secondly, unlike every Burst Product before it, Knight features Locks connected to a spring-loaded mechanism that shifts up and down vertically, theoretically increasing Defense.
Knight's teeth are relatively short, likely so the gimmick can compensate for them. In truth, Knight's gimmick doesn't work too effectively to make the Core less Burst Prone, and its mediocre Stamina makes it outclassed by most Right Spin DB Cores such as Dragon, Kerbeus and Belial 2.
