Achilles (アキレス, Akiresu) is a DB Core released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Dynamite Battle Layer System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-201 Zest Achilles Customize Set on August 6th, 2022.
==Description==
Takara Tomy's Achilles is a dual-spin DB Core that features an armored face and a shield, representing the DB Core's namesake: the Greek mythological hero, Achilles. As a Dual Spin Core, like Spriggan, it can have its spin direction changed to fit Right and Left Spinning Blades and BU Blades.
In comparison to Spriggan's medium height teeth, Achilles has 4 decently tall teeth, making it better than the formers in terms of Burst Resistance, and has decent stamina, comparable to Belial 2 in Right Spin and Longinus in Left Spin, and as such makes a good substitute for either of those Cores in terms of Stamina.
==Overall==
Achilles' high stamina and Burst Resistance makes it useful for situations where Dragon and Longinus are unavailable, though its still recommended to use the latter 2 over it for better Burst Resistance over increased stamina, with the left spin mode being preferred.
As such, Achilles is not a must have but is a welcome addition to any Blader's collection.
