Kick, abbreviated as K, is a Balance Type Bit with the standard 12 gear ratio and features a hexagonal tip that smoothly tapers to a hollow flat at a low angle, combining the features of Taper and Hexa.
Like Taper the surface area of the hollow flat creates a moderately aggressive movement pattern with speeds capable of reaching the Xtreme Line for an Xtreme Dash, but not so fast as to be able to perform continuous Xtreme Dashes like Flat or Rush. However like Hexa, when knocked off balance by an opponent the edges of the hexagonal tip strike against the Stadium Floor, forcing the Kick combination back upright and acting as brakes against Knock-Outs at the cost of Stamina. Thus Kick combines the moderate aggression of Taper with the stability and Knock-Out resistance of Hexa.
However this also combines some weaknesses as the rough edges of the hexagonal tip prevents precession and limits the Stamina potential of Kick compared to Taper. And while the aggressive movement can let a Kick combination dodge the Xtreme Dashes of an opponent, it also brings the Kick combination closer to the Xtreme and Knock-Out Zones of the Stadium, reducing the Defensive potential of Kick compared to Hexa.
