There lots of ways to get out synchro monsters very quickly so I doubt you'd run into to much trouble.
Hero I think you should make a themed deck rather than what you have now. It doesn't seem very strong.
Lol for now I would rather put money into beys, but next time I have money sitting around I will make a better deck.
(Jul. 07, 2009  12:31 PM)Newt Wrote: So your basically calling me a bad player for having an opinion on a card on the banned list and likening to play traditional every once in a while. You are wrong when you say rankings and events don’t matter. At the end of the day the winner of the tourneys is usually the best player on the day. As for overall rankings it shows how consistent you are with winning.

By your attitude you seem to be the type of player who can talk the big game but can’t play the big game. I also bet you netdeck something rotten and whine and complain when you get beaten because you fail to read your opponents moves correctly.
I also lolled when you said GB is still tier 1 I really should turn around and call YOU a bad player. GB can only consistently beat on LS on the top tier and even then you need a lot of luck (no honests or guardnas) and a side deck to even stand a chance. I know this information because I’ve sat and tested it. GB would still be good if the Meta was slightly slower paced or it could slow the pace down but it was proved in tele-DAD format it’s just not quick enough.
Also post your BW deck lets see how many cards your away from the CC

You just said that some one who wins a card game tournament is the best player at the end of the day. You should understand that Good Fortune plays as equal a role as being able to play your cards right in Yu-Gi-Oh. If you win a tournament, it doesn't make you the best player by any means. It just means you played your cards well, and had alot of good hands.

I probably shouldn't be labeling you as awful, but I really do think that it's erroneous to label Confiscation as sub-par. Go to beyblade general and call Storm Pegasis sub-par because it's hard to control, has bad stamina, and can be taken out by defense types. Just because Confiscation takes up 1000 of your life points, and isn't a good late game top deck does not make it bad. Solemn Judgment takes half of your life points, and can cost you games if you aren't extremely careful. Does that make it a sub-par card?

Looking at basic builds, taking them and testing them for hours to iron out flaws, then revamping them to suit your own style certainly does not make you a bad player. Also, saying that I whine when I lose is a huge assumption. If I misplay, or find I made a bad card selection, then I learn, and try not to make the same mistakes.

I just got updated on the game within the last two weeks, so your points about rankings and professionalism in a children's card game are all rather invalid since they certainly don't apply to me. I just got back into the game, so of course my rankings aren't high.

Gladiator Beasts may have a bad matchup against Lightsworns, but that by no means disqualifies them as a Tier 1 deck. They've been topping Nationals all over the world, and have won a few. They are consistent enough to still be competitive. They aren't the best deck, but loling if some one says they are Tier 1 seems to be ignoring that they aren't awful..

In anycase, sorry that I came off so rude. Can we can agree to disagree and let this argument go?

Why would I play the Elemental Heros. Also 3 Macros and 3 D Fissures = too many. From what I understand Mind Control is for Synchros? CyDras don't go in Macros.

Yeah mind control is for the synchros. As for the E Heros they're mostly beat sticks and search targets. Granted even withouth them 6 targets is more then enough for reinforcements of the army, but with summon monk they can leave a strong opening field. The Cyber Dragon is there as a beatstick and tribute bait should the need come up. With the 3 Macro Cosmos and 3 D Fissure true a consistant deck should open atleast with one of these in the first hand each time if you max out on both it's a near garuntee this will happen, it can come down to personal preferance though.
me i play a blackwings deck in its current format waiting 4 yugi packs 2 arrive and achent prophocy packs 2 add more 2 it

im part of a team called black flame over here in the uk

Having 3 macros and 3 d fissures is risky because you can't guarantee that they're shuffled evenly so you might get 3 macros and 3 d fissures in your opening hand.
Wow, I can't believe it, but my interest in this game has been rekindled.

I want a Dark World deck, but if it won't cost around 20 dollars or less, I'll probably just get a structure deck. I have tons of horrible pre-GX cards, although right now I have a poorly-constructed Fiend deck.

What's the best structure deck out right now? I'm probably going to get either The Dark Emperor (I'd get 3 of these eventually, haha) or Blaze of Destruction.
get the dark emperor its the best 1 out at the mo

Whats the concept?

You're kidding right?

Out of the box, Spellcaster's Command beat multiple decks, many have been worked on for 2 years or more. OUT OF THE BOX.

Plus, Command is more accessable than Emperor, which I've only seen on Ebay.
then ur looking in the wrong places sites like greylight, and koolkingdom hav shedloads of them last time i checked and granted spell command is good d emperor has more competitve playablity wen it comes 2 speed and anti meta
Anyone taking a structure into a competition is already asking for a defeat.

Granted, Emperor is a great deck (dark monarch, etc) but Command can lock down AND recycle retarded good effects like Breaker and Marrionette.

Breaker: 1 counter, +300 atk, spend counter, destroy M/T
Marrionette: +200 atk/counter, -2 counters 1 monster destroy

Plus you get Defender and Endymion's Citidel, which completely blows Secret Village out of the water. On top of that, Citidel holds counters when something dies and can SS Endymion, which in itself is a great card.

Plus, who's ever heard of those sites? And what's the prices?
lol i tend 2 disagree yes citidel is good but tbh id go with something like rainbow ruins and cbs as with summon monk, green babboon and barbaros uve got some easy hevy hitters plus add thes like abundence 2 swar and otk
