(Apr. 09, 2011  1:06 PM)Odin Wrote: dyingwilltsuna, I'll start with a few things that aren't good about your deck:

You have 18 cards in your deck. You need at least 40.

You don't seem to have a Stardust Dragon, making your Malefic Stardust a dead draw no matter what.

You don't have a Toon World. Thus, you cannot use Manga Ryu-Ran.

Magician of Faith is Forbidden.

Change of Heart is Forbidden.

By "Lesster Dragon" do you mean Lesser Dragon? Or do you mean another Luster Dragon? It's very unclear.

I have to say, this deck could really use some help. I'm not trying to be a troll, but I'm just saying.

Oh, and Killer Beafowl? Daegor used to run (and might still run) a "Trapless Scrap" deck. It's in a Deck Doctor on Roan's blog from a while back.

I just started my deck by finding them all around my house.
I have made a few new decks. Will post tomorrow.
Here is my deck. I know it doesn`t have theme and I think I have to many cards. Can you give me some pointers?

Made a few tweaks but thats just my preferance. but you definately need some Essedari. Secutor combos well with it and its cool to pull secutors effect of on their def pos monster and you then pull out +3 from it Smile
Lol, I have so many problems with your "fixes" that I'm actually bothering to post, hahaha.

Don't run Secutor, it's not worth it. If you don't run Prisma, don't run Test Tigers. Tigers are only good in Prisma Glads. You don't need two Murmillos. Samnite is trash. Lance is actually amazing for GBs.

If price is no object, Warnings.

I agree on all points except for Test Tiger.

I'm running 2 in my current build without Prisma. The truth of the matter is, in a Shi En dominated format, GBs need some way to get around the card that aren't spells or traps, and Test Tiger is literally the ONLY way to make that happen.

Samnite is debatable. I've gone back and forth on the card, but I also run E-Con in my build, so it tends to be more live.

Also, NEVER run Waboku in this deck. Like... Ever. It's always going to be a straight -1 and could easily be replaced with better, more versatile cards. Might try teching a Compulsory Evacuation Device or putting in a couple more Smashing Ground to help you get around this deck's biggest weakness: big creatures.
Oh right, Sams.
You know, I've been going to locals pretty frequently and placing well and I STILL haven't played a Sam deck.

Going into regionals with no Sam experience sucks. [/tangent]

I havn't played glads in ages but everytime i've used secutor ive pulled it off and its resulted in me having Herk or Gyzarus out. it also allows you to kill a stardust dragon with murmilo without stardusts effect going off.
Lol, you said my name 3 times in your post, Daegor Tongue_out <- U OFF TOPIC BRO?

Despite having no experience with GBs, I've also been telling him to not run Waboku as well, all it does is stall and annoy your opponent. You could not only give your opponent a -1 with CED, but you'd also stall and annoy your opponent as well.

I've been playing GBs for most of this format and I literally just took Secutor out of my deck after trying it because it was so awful and dead, and that's WITH Test Tiger. With the amount of Solemn Warnings, Effect Veilers and everything else floating around right now, Secutor just isn't worth the risk.

Never seen an Effect Veiler. Yeah I can see how that would screw up your play.
Goodness...it's been nearly 9 months since I last played Yu-Gi-Oh! Haha I just got back into it. My deck (at the moment) is centered around Synchro Summoning Junk, Turbo, and Road Warrior. I would use Nitro Warrior if I didn't lose my Nitro Synchron Tired But I'll get another one...I hope. If this deck doesn't work out though, I'm gonna switch so I can use some other Synchros too. And if they doesn't work, I'll have to center my deck around the card I don't want to use...The Winged Dragon of Ra. I got it in the Scholastic Book Fair edition of Shonen Jump Joyful_3 As a matter of fact, it's still sitting in the magazine and I got it last week on like Tuesday XD lol
X-sabers March 2011 banlist.

So the deck is at 40, the most apparent thing to anybody after they read the monster line up is: "WHAT? NO EMMERSBLADES?" Yes, no emmersblades. I think they're thourghly overrated as you only need them for field presence as a way to drop faultroll. I dropped them for Dualities so I can make the deck even more consistant in it's "Boggart + X-saber + Faultroll" play. I won't need to keep the emmersblade for field presence after that anyways.
Expensive deck there. I'd need to see an Extra deck before I make suggests for drops though.
Extra Deck----15

EDIT: Also, I just realized I don't need to drop anything. I counted wrong and the monster count is at 19.
lol Urbellum.

I'm all for originality and experimentation, but not including one of the archetype's BEST cards simply to play Pot of Duality seems really redundant to me.

Emmersblade is infinitely searchable, immediately playable and gets you to your end-game faster (IE: Faultroll swarm) and more reliably than Pot of Duality ever could.

Also, why the hell are you playing Starlight Road?
Yes Roan, I know that emmersblade is searchable VIA darksoul and POD. I personally look at it this way: if you try to focus on the Boggart + X-saber + Faultroll play which the deck is made for, who needs the emmersblade to keep up field presence? I just made the build a bit more about setting up your hand and making sure you have everything before that one big push. (Example: Trap Stun set, Boggart Knight, Fulhelm and x2 Faultroll in hand.)

I personally never found emmersblade to be a big use as I don't use Creature swap. Emmersblade for me was only there to summon darksoul from it, or wall with pashuul if really desperate, and I'm not even a big fan of Pashuul, I'm only running it at two because it's a level 2 tuner that can be used really well with the archetype.
And, the Starlight Road was just....there? It's not a bad card by any means, however if you suggest something to replace it with (other than an emmersblade) I will most definitely try it out.

And Daegor, Urbellum isn't THAT bad of a card, it's my thing to go for when I have Boggart + Fulhelm. (Which seems to happen a lot.)
