After the amazing tournament: Dir En Bey D E U X, a lot of the participants of that tournament went to McDonalds to eat some "amazing" food. We ended surprisingly early, like ~5pm so we decided that it would be a good idea to host another tournament since we had eight people that would participate!
The attendees list was basically the regulars of Toronto Events (Myself, Mitsu, pyrus10000, Jesse Obre, Kei, LMAO, U Wot M8, and Alphavicrose). Pyrus10000 didn't get to participate in Dir En Bey D E U X because of in real life mania lessons, so that made it a great reason to do another event since we love pyrus! Aplhavicrose was a new blader to the community which i brought along all the way from Milton! She said she had a great time and that she will most likely buy some beyblades for herself and attend future events, which is just amazing!
We really rushed this event and it was probably record breaking for the Toronto Bladers, we got done in about one hour, the format was block round robin; the bladers finished the round robin with the final records of; Jesse Obre 1-6, Alphavicrose 2-5, U Wot M8 2-5, Pyrus10000 4-3, LMAO 4-3, Kei 4-3, Mitsu 6-1, and 1234beyblade 6-1. The combo usage was very mnimized due to the sheer speed in which we were doing this tourney at haha, people mostly went for Odin Heavy Defense, or Odin based combos. I personally only went for Deathscyther Spread Accel, which got me pretty far haha.
The finals consisted of Kei, Pyrus10000, LMAO, 1234beyblade, and Mitsu, where me and Mitsu battled for first and second while Kei, Pyrus10000, and LMAO battled for third, fourth, and fifth! LMAO ended up losing the tie breaker, getting him the final score of 4-5 and fifth place, Pyrus10000 ended up winning one and losing one, which got him the final score of 5-4, and finally Kei won his tie breaker which got him third place and a final score of 6-3! Mitsu ended up winning the tie breaker for first and second leaving him with a final score of 7-1, and 1234beyblade ended up with the final score of 6-2, Mitsu won with OHD, 1234beyblade lost with DSA.
Overall this was an amazing decision made by us, we've considered it before, but this time we actually acted and didn't just say. I have to mention the fact that our prizes were crowns made by a wondering man from the streets of Toronto!
