This game is pretty nice. Anyone buying it? I preordered it and on July 17th the Beta's going to open. The real game comes out 9.9.14. I like Bungee and ever since they left Halo I feel it hasn't been as good. That's why I got PS4. I think this game is going to be better then Halo and Titan Fall. At least at this point, but until I see the real game I'm still not dully sure about the game.

I played the Alpha and it was really fun. I'm going to preorder it. I doubt this would happen, but I hope my character information from the Alpha gets ported over
Just letting everyone know that the Beta for this is being released in 12 hours! Countdown is here!
This actually looks really cool, hopefully it doesn't turn out like Sword Art Online, haha.

I think it's the best FPS that's come out this year. Better then COD Ghosts easily, and beating Titan Fall narrowly. Titan Fall copied Halo too much, but Bungee really made their comeback after quitting the Halo project. I have to say I'm glad they did, because if they hadn't I would've gotten Xbox One and stayed with Halo. Glad I got PS4 and Destiny came out,
Never thought I'd see a console MMORPGFPS that was actually good, but Bungee has definitely delivered with this Beta. The one thing I'd say is pretty lackluster are the side quests, especially since 90% of them involve you going to the same place over and over again. Although most MMORPGs have pretty meh side quests, I hope Destiny has better ones in the full game (I assume we'll have MUCH more to explore in the full release).

Supposedly the full release will have 10 years of content.
Literally minutes within the beta ending I preordered the game for 360 and am heavily considering also getting it for the One (my friends don't have the One yet but thanks to the awesome "Your characters are available on both consoles" thing I could enjoy the enhanced graphics when I'm by myself).
To say I'm excited for this game is putting it unreasonably mildly. It's like they took Borderlands, made it more MMO-esque, and added competitive and incredible Halo-style PvP on top of it.
My only regret is that I wasn't this excited soon enough to get the Ghost version before it sold out everywhere (I love the Ghosts omg, and while I normally don't opt for the ridiculous limited editions the Ghost replica is beautiful).
If you have a 360, look for Ingulit on September 9th; you'll know what I'll be doing!

There was a lot of land in a Beta as you just explored through out. I loved it! Excited for the real game!

Does this apply between other consoles as well? Like from 360 to PS4? I haven't bought a PS4 yet and was thinking of purchasing one, but I played the Beta both on my 360 and my friends PS4 and I had some issues getting used to the PS4 controller.

It's out and I have to say I love it! Just started though.
I'm loving destiny so far. Had it for 2 weeks and I'm hooked. I just wondered if any if you wanted to help me with the Heroic Weekly strikes. I'm a level 25 Voidwalker Warlock. My PSN name is SosNoo.

I am razarashid.
To be frank, the game has some of the greatest gameplay a modern FPS can ask for. I love the combat mechanics.
But between a horrid campaign of "bland-vile," and a lack of any real replay value outside of cooperative grinding, I don't see how this game is supposed to be the grandiose "Ark of the Covenant" gaming title Bungie set this out to be. Because it really just isn't up to snuff. They built an entire universe with a lore and grand setting that ultimately is not explored and is largely insignificant to what you do in game.
To be even more frank, I am starting to feel that this is all representative of the new "Bungie." Halo CE was a labor of love, in addition to being marketed as "the game" for the Xbox. But Destiny feels like a switch, where there is less love and more of "lets make this game and pour 50 million into it and make a profit." I dont blame Bungie for this; I am sure they operated under time constraints and had a lot of pressure from Activision, but it is clear that they dynamic of things has changed, and in Bungie's case, it isn't looking for the better.
