Location Details

• Meeting Room at Woodmont/Des Moines Library.
  
• Food will not be provided by the host(s) of this event.
  
• Please bring something to eat. (For example, a hotdog)
  
• Likewise, bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated!
  
• Please ask the Organizer before leaving to get any food.
  
• You could miss your matches; which will be marked as a loss, if you do not let the Organizer know ahead of time.
  

We will start ASAP after rollcall, so make sure you’re ready to go and have your Beyblades and strategies in place by the end of the countdown.

• Bladers arriving after 11:30AM may NOT be able to participate if they don't advise the host of their delay beforehand.
  
• Use the #im-on-my-way channel in the Seattle Beyblade Discord and keep us updated on your ETA!

Tournament Details

Please be advised that this tournament will make use of the following Optional Rules in addition to, or in place of, rules listed in the Format Rulebook:

Painted blades allowed

• Blades can be decorated with paint provided it does not affect performance, and is not applied to areas of the blade that touch other parts of the assembled Bey.
  
• Metal parts of blades can be dyed as long as they can be disassembled and reassembled without damage or any other modification. Plastic parts must not be dyed, as it may result in damage.
  
• Paint may not be applied to metal lock chips such as Valkyrie and Emperor.
  

Reveal and reorder

• After judge check is complete, each blader reveals their entire deck to their opponent.
  
• Then, each blader may reorder their deck before playing the first battle.

Seattle Beyblade Community Need To Knows:
Please use common sense hygiene rules and wear deodorant and take a shower prior to the event!
We will be using the public venue a while for this event, and no one wants to smell a stinky blader!
Recreational substance use is not allowed at our events, including tobacco, alcohol, or psychoactive drugs.
These are considered against the "spirit" of the game, and inappropriate for children present.
Players who appear to be under the influence or carry an odor of these substances will be asked to leave and disqualified from the event.
Feel free to bring any stadiums you would like for the free play area on the side, but make sure you pay attention and are ready when called for your matches.
Tournament matches always take priority over free play, we may have a time limit depending on the venue, and need to be respectful of everyone's time
Please let the organizers of the event if anything happens during your matches with a judging call as soon as possible so we can clarify any issues or rectify any mistakes as we go!
