I will just display here my creations, tangible or electronic. Mostly Beyblade related, but I may post a background or two that I find interesting. More and larger images of anything posted on this board can be viewed on my Facebook Photobucket page. The title may be confusing, so I will opt a short explanation. Mostly the only times I actually create things - GIMP backgrounds, write things, or make things - is when I am avoiding something else. Yesterday I was finishing my essay for my black belt test tomorrow - so I took a 'break' and did Beyblade things.
Yesterday I started, and completed, a belt pouch for my Beyblade. I was always angry about it rattling around in my pocket with my change, but didn't really like the plastic design from TakaraTomy (breaking, malfunction, and I am too poor for it) so now my precious partner has a designated location on my hip:[Image: SAM_0149-1.jpg]
It has a button clasp that folds over to secure the Beyblade, and a somewhat oversized belt loop on the back. I got the idea from an origami design, so I made a few of the origami baskets and found a relation between the size of paper used and the size of triangle obtained. Then I did MATH! The construct is a double layered material encasing a hard paper - to keep its shape.

Today I began a launcher pouch for a belt as well:

It is not complete, and as I was working on it I wasn't satisfied with where the design was going, but it has grown on me and I believe I will complete it. It needs only the addition of a button clasp and perhaps a loop piece to hold the launcher in place better.
Larger images can be viewed here I resized them so as not to crowd the page.
