Can't update my profile picture

Hi, so I have a picture that I'd like to make my profile picture. I downloaded it so its on my phone, but when I go to my account settings to change the picture it won't change it. Like I said, I'm using a phone. I don't know if that has something to do with it since all the other times I've changed pictures was on a computer. Thanks

If your on your phone or computer its the same you go to your account settings and click on your pfp and change it

it would just take me to another page saying that it was too large if that was the case. But instead it just takes me to my profile.
