Buying in bulk~

This may not be topic worthy but I was wondering if people have ordered bulk and plan on selling the parts of seperately. I know lots of people do and have but is there anyone who can definitely say that that they're gonna have an amount of items left over that they'll be selling on here?

I missed most of the rush and hadn't really decided on what I was getting anyways.......so it'd be helpful if I know what, if anything, is available to members here, from other members. If you're not 100% sure of numbers or items or don't want a huge rush or something, PM me.

If no-one has any such plans then I'll just turn this into a request thread or something. :\

i would actually like to know also as i am on the lookout for alot of things Smile
Didn't some members on here do a massive Japan Toys Order and split the money? Maybe we could gather some members together and do a big order if anyone wants a chance to get cheap MFBs.

Me, Kei and Synesthesia did this. Azuma was actually talking to me about organizing something a bit better rather than all of us ordering so much separately ...
^ Unless you and Azuma come up with some sort of plan, ordering together may be an idea for the future. I've started looking into how MOJ and YJA and all that actually work but we'd still have to gather members and such. And there's an amount of trust involved.
Uh anyways, it's a bit late to do that now though, huh? I mean, things may be restocked but, for the moment, the original question is important. ^^;
If someone bulk orders, I wouldn't mind paying for my share of it to help.
I would be in for a bulk order, I'll need it for MBS. Boosters and Launchers in the order I think. Also, who's receiving and distrubuting the product? I'm down for it if no one volunteers.
That'd be helpful. I don't have MOJ or anything and probably won't for a while but if people wanted to put some sort of plan into action then I'd be all for buying a share of the order.

Um, Azuma?
I though he meant 'who's ordering through Azuma and splitting up the order when it exits Japan'? And then volunteering for that position......

Azuma will split it up for you.
Oh wow. I figured he just send it to whoever ordered........what a helpful guy. Joyful_3
Rocky: That's what I was getting at.
Alright, let's leave this up for a bit. I'm having some financial issues (meaning that all of the money I have right now is going towards a trip to Houston on Thursday for a SSBB tourney) but once I have that squared away I would like to buy a chunk of the bulk.

Nope, he will split up orders. That's what Syn, Kei and I did with the RBV2.
I to like these ideas and would be up for it. It would make things alot cheaper and easier for people.
That would be great if we could get a large group of members and order stuff in bulk.

The reason I haven't proposed this is simply because the more people get involved, the more likely something will go wrong. I didn't mind doing it with you two because I knew you guys would take care of the money, but getting this many people involved is asking for trouble ...
Yeah, I was thinking of this as well. There is a risk involved ... We'd just have to make sure we all trust each other. Perhaps if we did do this, it would be mandatory for those involved to place a deposit down to whoever is organizing the order (probably you Brad in most cases) to make sure they are serious.

This way, there would be less chance to run into a member who decides not to pay anything.
Even though this is all fine and dandy, I think people should do this on their own terms with only a certain number of people. As soon as you try to involve too many in an order, or people you are not 100% sure of; there are bound to be problems. Also by endorsing this would we not assume some form of liability for any 'issues' that arise. Who wants to micromanage everyone's deposits?

Dealing with money problems in a large group is not fun; it's extremely stressful, something Brad and many others (including me) would want to deal with. Frankly group purchases should be kept to close friends.
Maybe let a staff member be in charge?
This was really only so that anyone who had already bought in bulk and was planning on selling some stuff could pipe up and say what was on offer. But seeing as people seem to be planning things......

I like the idea of everybody working together but there is a great deal of trust involved. Though, I think people already have an idea in their head of who is trustworthy and who isn't even if they don't want to voice it. As everyone has said, small groups would be much better. And, although it would be nice and easy for the rest of us to just leave it up to somebody else, I don't think we can just force anything upon the staff, unless of course, they volunteer. They're busy as well and they already have their own plans sorted out. ^^;

Also, although it's really up to people how they buy and don't buy, it'd be an idea to set a suggested number of people/money spent limit. It'd be a shame to have arguments in the Bey Community because of 'no-shows'.
