[Buying]  Looking for Vulcan Horuseus for Sons Birthday - Please Help

Hello!
I'm new here and am looking to buy a specific Beyblade for my sons birthday. There are quite a few questions so I thank you for your time!

He really wants Vulcan Horuseus (included Beyblade Wikia link below) and I'm hoping somebody can tell me where to get one.

http://beyblade.wikia.com/wiki/Vulcan_Horuseus_145D

Is the one that comes from Toys R Us or the Playstation as quality as the one pictured? The Toys R Us image almost looks like you need to put a sticker on the screw piece.

Also - if I need to resort to this - where can I order one from Japan (BBP01) and not get a fake? Can I use the US launchers with the BBP01 if I get it or do I need a Japanese launcher (BB68 or similar)?

I sincerely appreciate your help and time!
It's in the ToysRUs version of the DS metal masters game, that's the only way to get it in America's stores at least. If you order online, you can get a Takara Tomy (Japanese Version which is the exact same thing just without the special metal face) for much cheaper if your son does not want the DS game.
EDIT: Have not found any Takara Tomy's on internet @ reasonable price or nonbidding.
The one you get in TRU are similar to those you get in the PSP game(this one has a printed face, IIRC).
The only difference is, the PSP game version was released WAY before the TRU version.
The TRU version is manufactured by Hasbro, while the PSP one is by TT (the Japanese version). Smile

So, just get the TRU version; which is probably one of the easily accessible options. Smile
Or, buy an individual Vulcan Horuseus (without any game) online.
And, here's a suggestion- The Beyblade Wiki provided by this site, provides much more reliable info. Smile
It would be better if you would look into our wiki too! Just click the link "BeyWiki" you see above.

EDIT- Beaten!

We do not have a DS so he does not want the game. Thanks for the reply.
I would suggest you buy the japanese version (with original face)

Since you don't want the game (as you said---maybe no PSP as well?)
The beyblade in Blue Logo shows TakaraTomy--Japanese company that made it.

So here is link for the beyblade itself:

As it is rare, this one cost US US $47.18 with free shipping which is cheapest one.
Some of the ones on ebay is even more expensive than this one I got for you.

The one with the PSP game for Japanese Vulcan Horuseus is guaranteed to be real and you can see it is made by takraratomy (japan company). Hope you find this useful.

Foxy - have you used this seller at all? Do you guys know of any reputable ebay sellers? Thank you!
I don't use ebay at all. But this seller has 1427 positive feedback and 99.1 positive. So please feel safe to make your purchase, as I said it is TakaraTomy as you see in the box and cheapest with free shipping. That's really a good bargain.

I was going to pull the trigger on this one but saw that Toywiz is taking pre-orders for the Hasbro version (to ship in Feb). Does anybody know what this one will look like?

Also- with the Japanese one do I need a launcher like BB68 (Japanese)?
You need a credit to set up Paypal account to pay for things on Ebay. It's their rules.

You will need to buy beylauncher to shoot the beyblade. I suggest you getting either the BB-110 or BB-111 both are newer beylauncher that has improved mold I assumed. Because the older one you stated may just not be good as the newer release.

If you need to know where to get BB-110 or BB-111 cheaper than personal message me. thanks.

Both Hasbro and TakaraTomy versions does not include beylaucher. You must still buy the launchers separately.

This one is considerably cheaper than foxy's auction, and is from a reputable seller that I have purchased from on four separate occasions.

You do not need a Japanese launcher to use Japanese MFB - they are compatible with Hasbro launchers.

I just ordered this one. I figure $30 isn't that much more than the regulars and I know I'll have it. I just hope Hasbros doesn't come out in Feb b/c I'm sure he'll see it in the store..LOL

At worst, he gets two - one for use, and one for display. Never a bad idea, since the paint on the metal wheel will chip off.
On "www.entertainmentearth.com" It is stated that wave 16 is coming out in March and wave 17 is coming out in May. There is always a chance to see the release in stores since the metal masters also came out earlier than expected...just beware I guess LOL.

Overall they are usually quite late concerning distribution, however.
Yea...they can be. In my Walmart, they had Grand Cetus, Gravity Destroyer, Rock Zurafa, etc. Now they're back to galaxy pegasus, ray striker, fireblaze, and earth virgo DX
One last question. Will bb110 and the other string launchers be easy for a 4 year old to break?
Not at all. We have 30+ year olds that do not break them very often.
Final question.... How is the bb115 vs the bb110?
BB115 is preferred as it allows you to shoot right-spin and left-spin beys.
It also breaks less often.
