- Devil May Cry 1 or 3 (2 sucks; skip it)

- Gran Turismo 3 and 4

- Burnout 3/ Burnout Revenge (AKA Burnout 4)
- Ico
- Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2 (carp love these games)
- Persona 3 and 4
- Dragon Quest VIII
- Katamari Damacy
- Beyond Good and Evil
- Dark Cloud 1 and 2
- Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2


I'm sure I'm missing quite a few good games, but yeah that's more than enough to choose from, most of which you can find like dirt cheap.

yea i've played ma frends God Of War it surely rocks, i dont lyk the GTA series.

The game is excellent. I used to hate Anime before I played this game. If you like adventure games, then you don't need to worry about this game being stupid. Don't get the one on the GBA. They remade it for the PS2 and it just came out a week ago for $30. You really need to start out with the first one though, then progress through the series. The mix of Final Fantasy and Disney is awesome in this game. It's not what you think it will be, and this game can really consume you. In My opinion it's much better than God of War. If you like God of War, get the Prince of Persia Game I list.

So go in this order: Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: RE:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II

Final Fantasy games and Kingdom Hearts Games are overall very story oriented and really draw you into the plots. All the Kingdom Hearts games are great, and most of the Final Fantasy games are good. Final Fantasy however is played differently then Kingdom Hearts is. Final Fantasy is more like an advanced version of Pokemon, while Kingdom hearts is completely different. The Kingdom Hearts series is probably my favorite gaming series to be honest, and then Prince of Persia, and the Star Wars Battle Front for the PS2 at least.

But yeah, the are bazillions of great games for the PS2. I couldn't list them. But the first that comes to mind is Burnout 3. I have awesome memories of playing that at my friends house in the summer.

Hmm,well if you like rp gaiming you might like this game.
-Shin megami tensei persona 3.
Umm others you could pick are:
-Star wars battle front 2.
-Simpsons hit and run.
-Kingdom hearts
-Final fantsay
That's just some..there's alot of variaty out there.

Yeah the PS2 is a great system to start off at. Its really cheap with a huge library of awesome games that are also bargain price. If you missed the last generation of games, there's no better place to catch up than on PS2.

Nice I have Tekken 2 for the original Playstation. It's a classic arcade game.
