Brand New Here!

I have been around Beyblades for a long time but I had lost touch with it for the last two generations of it. I said, hell, why did I have never registered to this site when I was a kid, so here I am!
I mainly wanted to talk about the hobby as a person that is way too old to play with toys. I was into Beyblade in Plastic Gen when I was way too young but I got really into it when Metal Fusion came out which was just my age at the time, I got bunch of Beys, got into several tournaments in my country, would play it all day until the my whole group grew out of it which after that there was no one to play with and I was forced into a mandatory retirement by default. I'm not going to lie, I'm not over Beys and I do not know if I want to be.
I got really excited when I heard that a new Generation was coming out few years ago and that it was taking more inspiration from Metal Fusion few years ago. Just couldn't stop thinking about it and started watching Bey Youtubers all over again. I also really liked that Takara Tomy pushing the whole Gear Sports angle with the newest X Generation.
Beyblade really has some sort of energy that I can't describe, from when I was a kid to now I've always felt like it had more potential than most people give it credit, sometimes even the veteran fans. It's not like any other game, it's not precise or tactical as chess but it is in relatively the same scale - obviously it's not like any other physical sports in exertion, history/background or scale, but I think it is as watchable and fun when you make it make sense. It is not as unpredictable as some people assume to be or any simple. What you guys think about it?
When I was a kid I did put a quite a strain on my parents buying the Beys since they were not cheap. But in the new generation, with the new prices, from where I live, they are not expensive, they are absolutely UNBUYABLE if you can even find them on the stores. So, I am sad to say that I've not gotten my hands on the new generation yet somehow, but really pushing for it guys Eee.
Are there any other people here that is in a similar position?
Willing to talk and discuss anything about Beys, I will be posting some stuff that I've always wanted to talk about and maybe learn how some stuff works in the forum along the way.

THX.
