You can find gatherings and events happening at
Wayland's Forge and Global Gaming.

Both locations are within the city centre and both in Digbeth.
If you're ok travelling a bit further and you live on the EAST side of Birmingham I would reccomend also checking out the scenes in Leister and Nottingham.
