Even during breaks, he planned a strategy to defeat Rantz and asked his teammate, Tenka Shiroboshi, for advice. When he tries to ask for help, he is met with unexpectedly harsh words. Bird leaves Komaba Sushi with his Bey in hand, stating that he's leaving for intensive training. His teammate, Multi Nanairo, becomes worried, but Komaba Sushi's Meiko Meiden senses something within Bird. Meanwhile, it has been decided that a showdown to decide the Summit Challenger will be held, with the right to challenge Zodiac at stake!

Wait what..? Isn't Bird already on a lengthy training arc in the anime (which didn't happen in the manga), so now.. they had to adapt his manga training arc right after? This is weird.. what even was his lengthy absence in the last few matches for?

I would rather the writers make new episodes between Bird and Tsubasa Takano as an excuse for Bird not to participate in the match against Team Misleaders.
