Hey World Bladers!


Some big news has arrived for the community: Beywiki and Beyblade Wiki are merging!

This of course involves a transitional phase, because all of Beywiki's content will not be lost, of course not! The first step in doing that is to compare what is on the Beyblade Wiki and what is on Beywiki to determine which versions are better, more complete


This task is actually quite easy if you have a good idea of how and why Beyblade parts are good. You just read both versions on both sites, see whether Beyblade Wiki's makes sense on its own based on what we know from test results, and you simply write the article name in one of two lists. Here is what I have done for all the articles Beywiki had that start with the letter B :

It would be better to work one letter at a time, and to tell people in advance which letter you will be going through, otherwise everyone might be looking through the same articles. Please post your lists in this thread, and once others have been able to review them to at least make sure that we are not going to remove any content from Beyblade Wiki unnecessarily, the separate categories will be posted in the appropriate topics right here :

Just to give you tips, parts descriptions should not be comprised almost entirely of physical attributes. Hopefully the lists above give you a good idea of how to filter the rest of the articles, but definitely do not hesitate to ask us for advice or for pointers! Thank you so much in advance!

A few things I'd like to add, A lot of articles appear in the revise section based on the fact that the articles on beyblade wiki contain anime pertaining to appearances in anime and such, considering the wiki itself is a lot more anime centric. Deathsycther appears there because we don't have quite enough information on it yet. I noticed when looking through the articles, is that the MFB and a few other articles use this formatting that definitely is not pleasant on the eyes and looks fairly amateurish, for example Dragoon MSUV comes to mind.

Please take these things into consideration, and I'm always around in case any of this list needs to be changed.

Cool, I would be inclined to believe that both C and D lists are correct, so you guys can post them in the separate threads if you can. Thank you very much, this is really coming out great.

Shirayuki, we actually wished we could have continued using that format where the picture of the part is directly next to its description hah. Unfortunately, that format is not really compatible with mobile devices, so for your pleasure, it has to be dropped for now, hah.

Wow, I never expected the Earth Eagle and Earth Virgo articles on the Beyblade Wiki to be that outdated; it sounds like nothing was done to them since at least 2011. Perhaps there was some good in having a very slow approval process before hha. Both of your lists look great as well, so go ahead with them !

I do not know when you expected these lists to be done, but at this rate (assuming 2 a day get done), we should be done in a little over a week!
