People may hate this opinion but I low key think it would be more interesting if the match ended with Hikaru vs Rantaro. Valt got his spotlight with Shu last battle so a slight change would be cool.

So as was already mentioned, the battle continues on from the next episode. I will just go on to say that I loved this episode for a number of reasons. Mentors vs students makes it instantly favourable for me. The battle is intense and Rantaro uses his super cool new move (I think it was master tornado). He also joins with Valt to create a double move and Hyuga sacrifices himself to barely stop it. The match ends with an intense battle between Hyuga and Rantaro (I KNEW IT) which ultimately results in a draw. This episode was an amazing mix of tension, unpredictability and bonds.

I loved this goddamn episode. Personally, I enjoyed this plot style. It introduces surprise. I cannot wait to see the next episode. I hope episode 50 serves justice.

I totally did not see that draw coming. The fact that it came down to Hikaru and Rantaro was a surprise too, but a welcome one (IMO the second round should end the same way; these two need more time in the spotlight), and I really liked the new tag move thingy V&R did. Looked awesome if you ask me.
The preview is pretty exciting as well; I can't wait to see how this battle will conclude!
