Why are we getting so hyped about a QS battle? Sparking had multiple high level battles with good animation and choreography. In QS we can’t even  get above average drawing style. It’ll probably be like round three of Valt vs Aiga is Cho Z. Good drawing style, mid animation and choreography.

As someone who's working in animation, the composting looks strong, the movements are good, and the effects are as great as always. 

And this is from the preview alone. We'll see more of it in the episode. 

I think only one episode in the entirety of QS disappointed me in that fashion and it's episode 9. Xander looked weird, but direction was strong.

This is a massive misconception about animation. In fact budget has little to no play into why an episode looks great. It's the staff, studio, and scheduling that determine it. 

If your staff isn't very strong, you should probably lower your expectations.

If the studio isn't that great, don't expect anything mind-blowing in a series. 

If the scheduling is horrible, inconsistencies occur and an episode will look like a toddler made it.

Production also plays a big part as to how an anime turns out.

I doubt that last part since most of the references in Bolt Spryzen that make it "The Ultimate Spryzen" are missing. (Requiem's Axe and Cho-Z Spriggan's heads, probably more tbh)

That's some good news. I'm guessing that just like in the manga, Valt is number 1 while Bel is champion. I'm guessing Bel beats Aiger in the anime.

Wow, Shu wins here, but honestly he kinda needed that win because of his terrible performance in DB. Plus, it's Spryzen's first apperance.

Before I talk about the battles, good to see Aiger's height reach Kit's.

Spryzen's new Avatar looks almost similar to Requiem and Turbo's, but the animation team has done a fantastic job for the battle between Valt and Shu. Counter Break returns.

And surprised at Pax's resonating with the flame elemental from Spyrzen. Pax using Flame Pandora is not what I expected but I love it!

Feel sorry for Pri, she really worked so hard but her brother is a total doucebag to her.

I love how Aiger is the one caring for Pri a lot in this season, and Pri's right about Bell, the dark prince not helping at all. Pray for Bell's defeat next episode, but still, Bell is the one to come out victorious because the new episode titles mentioned Bell vs Aiger.

I'll rate this 2000/100. Another awesome episode!

I liked the episode,. The character interactions were pretty interesting especially with Pax. First lets start with Bell, he’s been getting a bit annoying for these last few episodes with his attitude, for Pri I like how her character is developing as she is starting to realize that Pax really only cares for his creations and reputation especially when he calls Pandora his bey not giving any credit towards Pri, when Pri has been doing all the work and improving over the season. So its nice to see that even when Pax isn't on her side she still has friends like Aiga, Bell, hanna and etc to cheer her on. Now Pax he’s still arrogant as ever, like I said before based on his dialogue he clearly underestimates the bladers around him and its even more clear in this episode when Valt and Shu the Worlds Top 2 Bladers display more power than Pandora ever has despite their low elemental levels and this absolutely frustrates him. This shows that Pax really doesn’t understand blading and is too over reliant on elemental power and his own answers, not really understanding Where a bladers true power comes from. He even made Pri wear the mask because of Red Eye back then. Now for the battle it was pretty good, it was better than DB. The battle itself was high speed, had amazing power from both Valt and Shu, had cool scenes with great animation and to end the battle Shu was the winner with a close over finish. Also based on the Aura that surrounds Pax its clear that he owns Pandemonium. The interaction were good, the battle was pretty cool, and the story is really heating up now.

This week's episode was great. Pri & Pax's conversation at was pretty tense. Basically telling Pri after all the data she's helped him gather that if she were to lose to Bell then SHE'S the problem and that he doesn't believe in her(considereing that she's gonna lose to Bell soon we know this is gonna end bad for Pri..). It's nice that Aiger is looking out for her and giving her the reassurance she needs. Bell on the other hand... is focused on his own challenges ahead. Can't really be mad at him since he's in a similar boat as Pri. I just wish that they could do more with him than just have him act the way he does. It'd be nice to have him support Pri here, or be more level headed and focused on improving for the semi finals. Bell also finally beat Ranzo 1 v 1 here in this season, so he's already turning his losing streak around.

But the best part of the episode was of course Valt vs Shu. The visuals, animation and Shu & Valt's intensity were all spot on. And the Aether stadium was pretty cool, if Bell battles Aiger in one in the tournament... he could win(kinda makes me wish it were Pri vs Aiger in the finals since she's the one with all the elemental powers... she'd probably even be strong enough to beat Aiger.. maybe).

Outside of the battle I liked the little interactions Valt and Shu had like Valt tripping on a wire heading to the Aether stadium(a throwback to Valt's clumsiness)and Valt and Shu bickering over who unleashed more elemental power, that was nice until Pax had to ruin the moment and say they're both at a mediocre level. "The only one that can reach the highest level possible is my bey pandora!" Yeah, good luck with Pax.


Next week it's Bell vs Pri, probably won't be as hype as Valt and Shu was but I'm still hoping for a good episode and battle. This week's episode was 9.5 or 10/10 for me. The pacing, battles, character interaction, ect. were all pretty good.

Yeah. The look in Pax’s eyes gave away the notion that he’s going to be using Pandemonium. To anyone thinking he was just going to keep manipulating Pri, I told you so.
