Bey Tournaments India - Read Rules in 1st Post!

Well in that case..here I easily show the bladers the disadvantages of those price-less(Anmol) beys. Because I have easily beaten many boasters having those beys with ease so as to make them purchase original Hasbro beys for $7. I think they purchase those price-less beys becuase they are cheaper as Janstarblast said and also because they are easily available. That is the problem here...just one shop having Hasbro beys, 0 having Takara beys and 5-6 having Anmol beys. And it is good that there are no such 'WBO' tourneys in Bangalore at least..here as well they have nearly stopped now...just one person in our society keeps boasting of having won in 2-3 of them and as far as I know and what others told me..he is faking about it.

And here as well the Beyblade is dying out....of the 8 people in my colony who used to have friendly battles with me a few weeks back..only 2-3 are still interested in beyblades...others threw their beys in dustbin. I wish I could have joined the WBO 2-3 months before I joined it...that way I could have easily hosted a tourney among the 8 of us and then it may have become popular too
(Apr. 12, 2011  2:50 PM)Janstarblast Wrote: Its not as easy to do that.... Its too difficult. They are the masters of beyblade. They know the answer to each and every question. (That is what they think of themselves)
I always mention WBO, I always mention Kai-V(the answer to every beyblade question), I mention every veteran member I can think of. I show them the site, your answers and I make them read the rules almost 6 times a week. They have their excuses. Yes, I agree with you Samkul. I just participated in a 'WBO' tourney. I didn't want to, but I did that coz ppl could learn to play according to the rules. What happened to me? No, I didn't win, I came back home empty handed. I didn't notice one rule:- The winner will get the beys of each and every losing participant. I lost 10 beys.(Coz I used 10 different beys. They didn't let me go home until I handed over my beys) You see, I had 42 beys, 8 beys short of the Rose Gold face.

Result, everyone now fear the name of WBO. So, it makes it impossible for me to invite any of my friends here.

What the hell. That is horrible. Did anyone ever make a website about those fake tournaments ?

Seriously, I am ready to do everything in my power to change Indian Bladers' false opinions of us. What are those fakers' rules, besides that ?

Personally, while obviously posting this on a public site is not too effective as I do not know who else from India might be reading this, you might want to just hold a tournament, not mention us, and then afterwards, when everything has gone awesome, say that that was a real WBO tournament.
Kai-V, there is nothing much you can do to get better opinions about the WBO, It's in our power, We have to show them how cool the WBO is, and they have wrong opinions.

That's probably only in prakhar's and Janstarblast's cities, Because here and I recently have been to Hyderabad, they don't have such things.

That is a good Idea ! But here in my city, They really look up to the WBO. They will be pumped about the Idea of a tournament in my area, my friends already are.
very true..... very very true. over here people look up to the WBO. so is ok amd there aren't any fakers. i mean really i swept in early and got everyone before those fakers could. so remember the early bird gets the worm!
ok lol now time to get serious can you lawsuit them?they are faking so legally you ought to be able to do so... but they are kids....
One question: If we are to hold tournaments and then say that they are official ones...wont the people first ask us "Why the fees are this much" and "What will you do of them"? because $5 isnt a small amount here..I dont know about the other metropolitan cities.
So instead of me convincing people to join the tourney..the reverse is happening here...they are convincing me to leave WBO and hold domestic tourney(which I dont want to cuz they are boring) ....cuz they think it charges 'high' fees..however I don't think it will be a big problem after me and my friends attend NitroNeo's Mumbai tourney..then I hope the others will join us..seeing the fun we will be having there.

Yup $5 isn't small. But we spend ever $50 over beys.

Well, even I am having problems right now... My parents are not allowing me to pay $5 for the tourney. Forget about the tourney, I am not even getting any new beys. I have just 2 FAKE MFB beys remaining. This reduces my chances of attending the tourney. But rest assured, there's still more than a month's time. Also, my bey collection has dropped to 15 original beys only. The tourney I participated in was an open tourney, so Anmol metal beys were allowed... Ever Indian knows the wrath of those Anmol beys... I had taken my whole collection there, used 10 in tourney matches(which I lost to the winner) I used all other in practice matches, and most of them are broken. It was a 5 day long tourney, enough to devastate most of my beys.
Still, this incident is of maybe mid-February. So, all the 32 beys did work out well, until I discovered major cracks in most of them yesterday. Those are now completely useless.
@ X1 ...I dont..I have only 6 beys..which cost a total of $42.. and Janstarblast...you still have 15 original..I only have 6..but all 6 beys of mine are in great condition although I got them almost 4 months back...even if they have cracks..they are too small so fevi kwik repairs them easily...and I dont understand..why did u give your beys??...I wouldnt have given them even if such a tourney was held here..no noe else would have done that too..we do it in friendlies..but that is just for a day...not forever...next time try not to give ur beys

why don't u bet on blades or keep a deal that who wins will going to blade in if u r a blading champ like me u can get many beys or just win local tourneys for money i also get beys from these methods and i have only 2 beys buy by me in my 16 bey collection
Now lets just stop going off-topic. I know that the matter about WBO's reputation is serious, but we better stop it for now.... Lets see what NitroNeo says about this, coz right now we(including me) are talking about beybalde collections..

$42 IS NOT LESS. It is much higher than $5. Even Hasbro beys cost $7 here.

Depending on the situation, I think we could be ready to do concessions.
If there would have been enough participants..then today would have been NitroNeo's tourney..
I hope we get more than 8 participants for the tourney on 28 May.
Kai-V..concessions of what sort?...You mean reduced entry fee or allowing reduced number of people (4-5) to participate for tourneys?

If we allow only 4-5 people then it would look a carp. At least 7 are needed to make it look official.
I know that..but what can we do if we get a maximum of 4-5 somehow for a tournament??...tell me is it our fault?..and seeing the nature of the so-called beybladers here...if the entry fee is reduced to even 2$ still they would show as if they are doing a big favour by attending the tourney
Hm, I was not referring to the number of participants. As was mentioned, it does not look like a tournament at all if you only have four or five Bladers ...
GOOD NEWS! GOOD NEWS! GOOD NEWS!!! We now have a 6th participant! Today we had a party in my society, and one of my school friends came to my house. I made him join the site WBO! He joined from my PC, so his IP address is SIMILAR for now(Kai V, Please read this, as this might result in a dynamic IP). Also, do not expect him to be quite around this site. If he does come, he will have a differnet IP for sure. Luckily, he lives in Kandivli, and can easily get to the venue. So, as his friend, I will give his details.
Username- God of war
City- Mumbai
State- Maharashtra
Country- India.
Please can you add him to the list? He became a member just for the tourney...
If you wanna see if he really is a member or not, do not search. Check my referrals.
Hmm.. this is rather quite the common situation i guess but still i will wait for the mods decision
OK fine! Still, please do PM me if there is a problem. If the mods disagree, I'll call my friend and ask him to login right away! So please let me know. I know its common, but I am not lying.

Wow going through all the posts was super boring , anyway dude beyblading should be fun , you as kids are learning gambling on a kids sport , that is not how WBO Works , dude stop doing this it's just bullying kids of their enjoyment you increase the number of the beys you own but they lose the beys they have , the beys may be very special to them like someones grandparents could have gifted them so you have no right to do such things as betting , think if you one day you lose your whole collection that you spent your or your parents hard earned money on it would devastate you as a child , if you even hold a WBO Tourney kids wont come

Anyway about the situation just ask the participants which official blades they have , if most of you guys have plastics or hms , then we will hold a tourney based on them , it is not necessary to host a mfb tourney , so you can save the trouble of buying mfb beys , but still those Anmol or fakes like TT Hongli are not allowed

I agree that no one would spend $5 for entry fee or $10 for a passport bcoz some of them wont even log in to wbo after the tourney , i on the other hand am ok with paying coz , beyblade is fun & i just want to spread the fun of beyblade
Well, I tried to stop them from posting those bey clollection increase posts...
Also Nitro, its a great idea! I have many plastic beys! But I think, we must hold a MFB tourney. Coz actually now, I am trying to save those old beys, as you know that they have become super rare.. I would like an MFB tourney as MFBs are still new, and easily available.
Unfortunately my mom threw away all my plastics and I have none of HMS..so if it is an HMS tourney or a plastic one..I would be 'blade-less'. As for the fee...I am OK with it too...I am actualy planning to get a passport...but 5-6 people isn't enough...I hope we get more participants by May 15..I hope my friends join too.

What the heck ? So, that one is spammer, I wonder why people like this make a bad impression of our country. You both could have one account, like me and my elder brother.

I don't know if they will come but there are 3 people who have said that they will come to the tourney.
