Battle Strikers Discussion

LOL yes, they're definitely worth your money.

Firehawk Metal XS or Ninjitsu XS?

Fire Hawk is better for stamina, Ninjitsu is better for Offense.
Ok.
Now then. I bought the firehawk just to try out battle strikers. I decided they are worth looking into further (aka I like them).

Which boosters would you recommend purchasing next? ie the next 3 I should purchase
Raptor (heaviest weapon), sentinel (fun to control), dragonfire(metal ball).
If you have the luck to see a Viper in stores, grab it! Coolest tip EVER.

As someone who beybladed and just bought their first battle striker today. I would say battle strikers are worth the money.

I personally like the the beyblade launch system better(the ability to control it) but the battle striker launcher definitely puts a ton of rotation on the battle striker. Plus I am new to the Battle Striker launch system so that opinion could change as I learn to launch it better.

The battle strikers are definitely designed better and have lots of potential for more and better growth. Unless Beyblade comes out with something spectacular they are not going to have a product capable of competing. I own MFB beyblades and I have to say, they are not spectacular and it seems like the same beyblades over and over again, same set up and format as the classic plastics, just different materials.

Awesome, so I will have to head off to the store in about an hour if anyone has any more input speak up.
Beynval, thanks a ton. I wrote those on my sticky note for shopping. Thanks

Though I agree with a lot you say. Beyblade does not need to be as spectacular. Beyblade has an anime Battle strikers does not.

Considering Metal Fight Beyblade is for a new generation of kids and that plastic Beyblades were introduced more than ten years ago, that would seem normal ...

Both games are very enjoyable anyway.

And definitely get Dragonfire and Raptor if you can, as Beynval said.

Do you mean that Beyblades don't need to be very fun or exciting?! What does the show have to do with the level of entertainment obtained from playing with spinning tops?

Please, elaborate...
What I said made perfect sense. Beyblade do not need to work as hard on the fun or physics of the actual game. Your average 6-12 year old boy will not care about that. What he will care about is

"oh mum I saw this really cool spinning top on TV, this really cool character called Ginga has it. I saw an add for his Beyblade on the TV afterwards please will you buy it for me."

This is why Battle Strikers have to work much harder on their TV advertisements and physics for the actual game. Also a good competetive scene would be a good route to go down as well. (But I don't really know what Mega have done/plan to do on that front.)
No, Benkei is totally right. I don't think he meant in terms of himself, but in terms of consumer perception as a whole. I always tell the designers, "it's not good enough to be better than Beyblade; we have to be ten times better!"

And Dragonfire is a great pickup, not just for the Metal Sphere, but for the Weapon which as great upper attack. However, I would get Shredder over Sentinel any day; Shredder's Weapon has insane Stamina.
But it's not released yet 0_0
neither are sabretooth and piranha.. Unhappy

btw most stores I went yesterday with Kai-V didn't have Metal XS.
what is the cost o a metal battle striker i have to kno if there to good to buy them i think battle strikers suk plz tell me
And please don't get me wrong. I love the Battle Strikers product, I actually own more BS than Beyblades. I'm just playing Devil's advocate a bit.
BTW Benkei, a competitive scene is our major marketing plan for 2010. You will see some very cool stuff soon. I am completely leading the Organized Play project, so imagine WBO on a 100x scale.
I hadn't seen that before and the stamina on that Shredder really does impress me. Because that is the over riding thing that was poor about series one.

I almost thought that Libra would be Beyblades saving grace but it was not to be. My Viper, Raptor and Shredder has been shipped out today I can't wait for them to arrive.
obviously not if libra was going to be the saving grace it would only be against attack types but it was same type matchup so not.
soo any luck in discovering why soo many stores dont have metal xs yet??
LOL we are so cool B)
Glad you got it. Sorry I couldn't get you Dragonfire ... I am sure we will get more in soon.

PenguinXS, we are investigating.
I know its sad but since i got my 2 Strikers I havent even spun or put them in a stadium yet. Maybe when I'm not working and think of it I'd love to see how they do! No offence to Bladers but with the weight difference they'll kick some bey-butt. Yes bey has its aadvantages but but the weight and 6000 rpm puts bey at a bit of a disadvantage. It's like comparing apples and oranges. The metal Beys kicked plastic Strikers butt, but Metal XS is a step up on Metal Bey wieght wise. Its just science not a personal thing, I enjoy both.

P.S. For Brad..Whoever designed Sentinel, I want an autograph(flipping genius)!
Man, why does everyone like Sentinel ...

If you're serious, I can probably get their autographs LOL
