id have to agree from what ive heard about the xs,battle strikers are alot better then beyblades atm,and theyve evoled the game of battleing tops in some very good ways (Y) keep up the good work
Will the redesigned Xs stadium be sold separately or exclusively along with the future Tournament Set?
Just FYI, plastic strikers are on sale at walmart (in Toronto) for $4.95CDN, stadiums are $10CDN, and starters are $19.95CDN. I realize that come next month, the plastic series will be mostly obsolete, but if you don't have a stadium, now might be the time to get one.

As I already wrote, it's a new system.
So is Metal XS gonna for sure be released in January like is there any possibilities of there being a delay?

We wouldn't have announced it if we weren't sure.

well good to know you guys stick toyour word
the Metal XS sound awsome but will they be able to fight equally with MFB cause the first Battle strikers didnt stand much of a chance against beyblade unless they had the metal ball then it could compete with plastics cause i would like to battle the Metal XS against MFB if they can go against each other equally
(Dec. 05, 2009  11:00 PM)Bey Brad Wrote: As I said, the power level is about on par with MFB, with some of them being stronger than MFB. They are about the size of the old plastic Beyblades.

Also, why should the sole focus of Metal XS, and Battle Strikers be to be able to "beat" MFB? They're different games ...
Thanks for pointing that outStupid

i think it would be awsome fun having them compete cause i think the general simple of idea of sinning tops battling is great fun and the more this can be expanded on the betterStupid
Hey brad could you post some pictures of some of the metal xs and the stadium to see what it looks like?
I'd be interested in seeing pictures of the strikers broken down, so we can see how they go together and their customisation potential. However I don't think he'll be able to just yet.

Ok lets see which the public will choose...
They are the public. Neither of them work for Mega, Kai-V has been around the Bey community as long as (if not longer) than I have, and Val is the most promising newer player I've seen for years.

If they say Metal XS is better, it's better.

I'm sorry, I just needed to correct your previous statement. Mainly because I think people are starting to lose sight of the main point. There is no better game, it's all down to personal preference. Both games, although using the same spinning top concept, have different methods of play and call upon different skills.

Beyblade as we've said before is all about combining parts and finding the best possible combination, Battle Strikers is less about customisation and more about your skill at being able to control your striker. They're both different games and to compare them is such a simplistic was as to say "which one is better?" is doing both games a disservice, because you're ignoring the fact that each game has its own merits and flaws, and it will be down to peoples individual choice as to which one is for them.

yeah I agree about the broken down part ,but isnt your picture a metal xs.

Except Battle Strikers has as much customization as MFB. Wink
Quote:You are going to see a huge change in this come January. If the skill level (actual skill, not "knowledge") in Beyblade is like 20%, I'd say in Battle Strikers it's at least 60%. There is a lot more focus on the player's ability here than just the Striker. So, of course the player with the proper/best Striker is at a significant advantage, but an aggressive player with a "weaker" Striker but more skill at control and aiming can come out on top.

I was just going by what you yourself had said. Maybe I'd put my point forward the wrong way, I was trying to say that the emphasis is on different aspects of the game mechanics. You've even said yourself that in Battle Strikers the combination of parts affects the outcome less, whereas in Beyblade it's an important part of the game.
I said more focus on the player's ability than just the Striker. Customizing your Striker effectively to match your play style is still very important. It's just not the only important factor.
haha picked up skulltor and the wolf one today 5$ each for a booster couldnt help but buy them xD
