"Explore your imagination as Knock Out Arena roars with capacity action. Two brave kids somersault into the ring. Quick as lightning, each yanks a Striker from their belt, casting it into the center of the ring with such tremendous force, the entire arena shakes, ceilings explode and the battle is on!"

"Epicquity" at its finest...

As for your second point, I don't really understand. How does giving the opponent 1 point cause them to lose? The match doesn't end until a player accumulates 3 Battle Points.

so does that mean when u pick ur three strikers u can only pick 1 to use for the whole time??

before u said when there was a penalty the opposing player would be afforded 1 point and the battle would end, read my other quote
BATTLE, not MATCH. A battle is one game.

Battle Points

A single match is broken up into individual battles. To win a match, a player must accumulate 3 Battle Points.

So that battle ends, but the match continues until a player accumulates 3 BP.

I am not sure where you are getting this "three Strikers" thing from ... you can only use one Striker during a Match, just like Beyblade.
This is all so complicated! The way I've been playing, and I assume others have been playing is to set up my three strikers in the pits of the stadium, and to have 3 battles, one with each top (best two out of three). I'm not opposed to more in depth matches, but I do admit that too much going on can get complicated, fast.

There really is a lot more room for cheating/mis-launches with strikers though.

These are tournament-level rules. I don't think it should be required for a player to have three Strikers to compete, anyway ... your way is certainly fun, but I don't think it suits tournaments.

This really is not that complicated. It's one Striker Vs one Striker, with 2 points for KO, 1 point for outspin. It's very similar to Beyblade, and I don't think that is complicated ... if you only got 1 point for a KO, nobody would play Offense-types; too risky.

Any way, the rules are necessary to ensure play is fair.
can u change strikers for each battle

You can change between matches, but not between battles within the same match.
then y is there space for 3 strikers??

It's just a place to hold/ store the Battle Strikers... :\ A few Beyblade stadiums have them too.

Oh! I wasn't paying attention to the fact that these were tournament rules. I thought it was just general rules. It makes much more sense as tournament rules. Anyone getting so far as a tournament is probably more interested in the game than your average player.

Or most likely, a highly overzealous kid who's parents have deep pockets...

I just came back from Brad's house (had a great time) and we have been testing more in depth Metal XS vs MFB. We then decided to film it to share the results with you guysSmile

(video is still being processed, so the quality of the video will probably be better in a little while)

As you can see, the argument of ''yeah battle strikers suck they dont stand a chance against mfb in a beystadium they last 2 seconds'' doesn't work anymore. In our tests, Metal XS were constantly MFB, even though Metal XS are not designed to be used in a beystadium. When we used the controller, MFB didn't stand a chance, one hit and they were knocked-out.

Anyways, can't wait for all of you to get the new Metal XS and try them out!
That was interesting! Dialga and Palkia couldn't help but join, I see. Control looks really tight and precise. I can't wait to see how Sabertooth performs.

Will the bey-abuse ever end?! Kaninininini...
Yeah, let's clarify: these tops were never designed to be used in a BeyStadium, or even a curved stadium. The Lock on the bottom of the Striker constantly scraped the Tornado Ridge, and even our standard ball-shaped tips were so aggressive that they kept flying out of the Stadium (which is why I used Metal Sphere twice; one of them was supposed to be Balance, but ...)

And this is in Beyblade's home turf, with no control aspect, which IMO is a huge disadvantage as these tops are meant to be controlled; that is their specialty. As you can see at the end, utilizing them fully they are incredibly powerful. It was obviously not a massacre by any means, and we didn't want it to look like one as that would be pretty dishonest. We picked three solid combos from each side and let them play on Beyblade's home turf, and they still came out ahead.

Of course, I am anticipating loads of people saying that isn't fair; however, nobody said that when Battle Strikers Series 1 were fighting MFB in MFB stadiums. That was not anything approaching fair, but people were fine with it because it made Battle Strikers look bad.

But the designers learned from that, and here we are now. We've designed a top that requires more skill, more strategy, and is just as powerful as MFB in most circumstances, and in a few, more powerful. So what now?
poor hasbro might not make as much money now ): lol
YAY! They finally have the pegs and displays up at the local Walmart, but only the starter boxes out. Going back later to see what they have(and hopefully get 1 or 2 or....a bunch).

The old one will work. I suggest getting a new Starter for the new Controller, but if you want to just try it out and you have an old Turbo Launcher, it will work.
Thanx B-Man!
