Battle Strikers Discussion

Yeah i know that you can control them but they made them as another way of a Beyblade
Quote:I think you might be wrong about that i am 12 and i remember Beyblade.

You are in the minority. Bakugan has more traction than Beyblade in that age group.

No, it's just another battling spinning top. Beyblade is not the first one (see: Spinja, Beigoma)
Ok but Bakugan is not the more "traction" in my age group and why is Beyblade not the first
spinning tops have been around for centuries there has bound to be other games than beyblade based on them

Good point and spinning tops are going to be around for a long time to come. (Mabye in the future someone will figure out how countrol tops with your mind but I'm getting ahead of myself and the rest of us Smile
Hm, with Battle Strikers, I am less tempted to customize, unless there was something really special about the one I was using. Probably, hah. However, I really see a definite distinction in that aspect.
Can we please keep this on topic ...

If anyone has any more Metal XS questions, I'll try to answer them. Still waiting to hear if I can post more pics or not.

Kai-V: Customization is an important focus but it's definitely not as major as Beyblade. In Beyblade, you control how your top performs by customizing and launching. In Battle Strikers, you control it directly. That being said, you were using a fairly strong Striker as is. Wink

Hmm... you are right Beyblades are more customizable

That is not what she said, and there is no real difference. MFB has the Clear Wheel, but I doubt anyone considers that an advantage.

Not necessarily more ... It is just a lot more important in Beyblade.

I'm starting to get this now because a Beyblade has more switching parts

Again, that isn't what she said. It's because in Battle Strikers you can control your Striker directly. So, there's more emphasis on the player's skill and less on customization.

ok i didn't know it was that you play with skill in battle strikers
Does the added weight and the fact it is made of metal instead of plastic have any impact on spin velocity as opposed to their plastic counterpart? I heard Metal XS is a bit smaller in size than the plastic Battle Strikers, so I'm assuming that compensates for the increase in weight? I'm asking because it's a sizable increase.

Yeah, the spin velocity is a night and day difference. It's more on par with MFB/HMS.

You have to control it ... that takes skill.

I don't understand that part
on par with mfb this should blow mfb out the water even though mfb isnt everywhere yet

why dont you go look them up and educate yourself

One question why do i have to educate myself
(Dec. 07, 2009  10:55 PM)Bey Brad Wrote: What don't you understand?

I dont understand that controling the Battle Striker takes skill
^Then you probably shouldn't play the game

It takes skill to maneuver your Striker in such a way to yourself the tactical advantage over your opponent. I.e. forcing them into the wall to make them lose a lot of spin quickly or moving your Striker out the way of your opponent and avoiding a potentially dangerous strike, etc.
Metal XS has everything mfb has, but even better. I can't think of something mfb has that Metal XS doesn't.
What makes it even better is the control. With beyblades all you used to do was launch a ripcord and cross your fingers. Controling Battle Strikers takes skills because it is not that easy to get it at first, it's really frustrating at first but when you get the hang of it, it's really addicting. The battles are way more intense, there is a lot more techniques and strategies you can use. Now you can truly say '' HAHAHAAH YOU JUST GOT PWNED, U DONT HAVE MY SKILLS YET'' haha
What I used to like the most about mfb was the sound of metal clanking and I can say that Metal XS is a lot more agressive and and it is noisier. It's just mean LOL
I think the only argument people may come up with is ''Oh Beyblades look better than Battle Strikers.'' But it's just an opinion and there will also be a lot of people thinking the opposite. The gameplay of Metal XS is undeniably better than Beyblades.
I wish I could say more but I don't know what I'm allowed to say...
I'm really attached to beyblade but I'm not able to say anymore that beyblades are better than Battle Strikers.
