Balro Gryph SA165 (normal mode) WSF

So this is basically my first combo testing thread so please give me some feedback. I've been interested in Balro Gryph for a long time and decided to test it out while I was trying to find a combo that could sway but out spin some stamina and defence types.

Also credits go to Meow! for introducing the SA165WSF setup before me I supposed.

Combo Breakdown:

Stone Face
Gryph
Balro
SA165 (normal mode)
WSF

Set up:
Beylauncher LR
Segment Grip
Beylauncher Suspension
Zero-G Balance type Stadium

BTW More testing would come soon but i don't have F230,Girago,Wyvang,TB or anything up there.
This is an interesting combo... BUT Ifraid Bahamdia is a bad sway attacker. I can post tests when I have the time, requests?
Test it against a rubber bottom combo
... I don't even know what to say here. That is not specific enough. Should I do Attack, Defense? What?
A defence bottom ( RB,CS,RDF etc.) sorry I should have said
Okay, will do when I get home.

Yeah I just took anything I saw (still kinda new at this), could you test this againts Duo F230CF?
Sadly, I don't have F230 at the moment. Anything else? I have two Wyvangs BTW.

What about Wyvang ^2 Sway Attacker, i should be able to do more test againts left spin by the end of the day and versues something heavier might give show this combo potential
Can do that. I'll have tests up by tomorrow.
EDIT: Here they are: Balro Gryph SA165WSF vs MSF Wyvang Wyvang E230GCF
Equipment: Zero-G Attack Stadium Bey Launcher Grip w/ all accessories BeyLauncher R
Gryph Wins(3 SO's, 4 OS's, 3 KO's)
Wyvang Wins (9 SO's, 1 KO)
Gryph Win Percentage: 50%
...eh. This combo is interesting... but gets SO'd like crazy. I'll test against Dragooon tomorrow.

I take it SO means out spin right? The fact it had more KO and SO makes me wonder what the results be if i didn't get SO'd or possibly the fact I used it in a different stadium.

Any way I did some Dragooon test.

Balro Gryph SA165WSF vs Reviser Dragooon SA165GCF[/color]
Equipment: Beylauncher LR with suspension, Zero G Balance type stadium
Gryph Wins(11 KO's)
Dragooon Wins(1 OS,1 KO,7 OS)
Gryph win percentage: 60%

Now this was a little surprising...just like Dragooon BGrin it was impossible to OS Dragooon and can I tell you how many times Dragooon got wall saved?..In order to keep Gryph from SO'd I just launched it dirrectly in the center the same I did with Dragooon.
SO's mean Sway Outs.
I like this! Smile

Meow! asked me about an SA165WSF balance combo in Zero-G a while ago, and it was pretty decent... althought IIRC he used Girago. He liked it a lot.

Anywho, the one thing I would say about this is that uptting such a high-recoil wheel like Gryph on WSF may be the reason its being tossed around so much. :\ MSF-H/L Balro^2 SA165WSF has worked pretty well for me in the past, and it has quite a bit less recoil from my experience...

Finally someone posted a decent Zero-G combo, LOL. I'll try to get some results up ASAP.

Good job. Wink

Thanks! The response really means alot and it would actually be alot of help if more people tested this as their is a little I could do.

I have to agree that Meow! combo possibly could be more effective toward leftspin due to it having much more weight and less recoil then my combo and thats probably what my combo is lacking. Although I find this combo is very decent for a majority part of the meta game but is still no where near top tier and this combo is probably meant for those who dont have another Balro or Girago^2 also that Balro balance out most chromewheels especially Gryph who I believe still has atleast a small shot up there.
Well, I got some done...

Balro Gryph SA165WSF vs. Duo Cancer B : D
Cancer launched first on all launches.
Gryph: wins, 10/10 (3 SKO, 1 KO, 6 OS)
Cancer: wins, 0/10
Balro Gryph SA165WSF win rate: 100%

I like it pretty well... I think this track-setup really great. Balro Gryph may not be the best Synchrom to use on it, but the concept definitely has potential. I actually like Genbull^2 to be honest. Semi-aggressive combos have a serious advantage in Zero-G because of how hard it is to keep your balance. I've seen RF synchroms OS Duo in Zero-G before LOL. XD
Been busy for the past few days and now im back with a new test.

Balro Gryph SA165WSF vs Killerken^2 E230SB
Equipment: Zero G Balance type stadium, Beylauncher R,Beylauncher LR with suspension
Gryph: 13(10 OS, 2 KO, 1 SO)
Killerken: 7( 4 OS,1 KO, 2 SO)
Gryph Win percentage: 65.0%

Many of Gryph weak factors did show up at this match (weight and Recoil), If I wasn't careful enough Gryph would of end up SKO'ing itself and I had to focus on its Tornado stall and stamina abilities to win rather forcing it to make contact (certain times if it did end up making contact early at the match then it would end up losing). Thank god often at the end of match Gryph still had enough spin to topple down and scrape Killerken although probably due to its horrid balance.

BTW Bey Test is the Boss! Anyway I'm low on parts.
