Yes, the track and bottom aren't any different.
I have a couple of questions and it is dead important (at least for me). They're all about S2D.
- What type is S2D suppose to be on XGrin? As in Attack, Defense, Stamina or Balance. I know it obviously sounds like it's a Balance Type but for some reason, I have always had thoughts it might be for defense because first of all, I cannot imagine TT giving this "Ultimate Balance Type" no Defense Type Bottom whilst giving it an Attack and Stamina Bottom. Secondly, I also had a thought it could be a Defense Type Bottom because it is an uograde of SD and that leads to my next question...
- What is S2D suppose to do that SD can't do?
I also have another question as well. Can you use a takahara-tomy beyblade in tournaments, or peices from a takahara-tomy beyblade in a tournament?

Absolutely, TAKARA-TOMY, Hasbro, Sonokong and Mani Ltd. are all legal Beyblade companies.

By all means! Hasbro and Takara-Tomy parts are legal.

EDIT: Ninja'd. Also I can't delete posts for some reason.
Hey! What about my question?! I sorry if I sound rude but I HATE WAITING OR BEING COMPLRTELY IGNORED!!! X(

Well, defense in it's name doesn't mean that's what it is used for. It never really found any competive use from what I remember. It most defintely would be used for stamina though. It doesn't do anything different than SD really. On X : D the S2D mode just gives it a bit more height which leads to less balance whilst in a battle.

That is not why I thought it could be a Defense Type Bottom.

Also, my question was not for competitive use, my questions were based on what TT made S2D to be.
Okay How can i modify my F : D To become permanent rubber or permanent Semi flat? So i can enjoy using my Big Bang Pegasis as attack for once =.=
You can't, without making it illegal for tournament play. If you really wanted, you could probably just sand the plastic tip off, though. Otherwise just get an R2F tip or something.

Takara-Tomy classified SD as a Balance Bottom with attributes of Stamina and Defense, so it would make sense that they would've classified S2D the same. After all, Diablo Nemesis is supposed to be the Ultimate Balance type.

Realistically speaking, S2D is just a gimmicked name for a mode that slightly resembles SD, but performs like a regular S Bottom.

That is really disappointing to hear. Thanks for answering Angry F and Tri.
I wanted to ask a question. Why does my WD ( Basalt horogium's ) Seems weak .. my combo is basalt kerbecs GB145 WD and it can only beat my weak beyblades but not the strong ones this is supposed to beat my strong beys Like Hell Kerbecs BD145 DS Earth Pegasus B : D and etc . But it just can't is the WD worn or something? PS i experience this exact thing with BS too
Basalt GB145WD isn't that good at stamina, but it's good at KOing Earth combos, what stadium did you use?
What, WD knocking out Earth combinations ?

weakmo50, it could definitely be due to the Track, since Stamina types are usually much lighter. What you have right now looks more like a Defense type without a proper Metal Face on it. Even without a Metal Face, a Defense type is usually never made for or good at outspinning Stamina types. So, if you want to defeat the other Beyblades you have, I would say that you should try 'downgrading' your Basalt to a Stamina type or build an Attack type with completely different pieces.

I mean the way Basalt AD145WD is good at KO BECAUSE of the Basalt wheel, at least that's what I heard.
Mhm , That makes sense , ,Since My bsalt kerbecs is really heavy it can't really maintain spinning. Thanks for making it clear ! Smile . Btw stadium i used is Ultimate Bey Stadium.. ITS really hard to play at that stadium because of the middle thing with the magnet in it. All of my beys fall under there and just lose..
Then the stadium isn't good for use, the BB-10 is the stadium I recommend you test as it's fair.
Yep . I requested A BB-10 Attack type stadium . but instead they gave me an ultimate bey stadium which is good but not good if you're making two beys fight each other its only good with proto nemesis
Are the beyblades that come with the Japanese versions of the games worth anything? Like the Anubis or anything?

They generally have Metal Faces (unless that's just for Hasbro), but they're come with decent parts: SD, 90, etc. But they're mostly just really cool and unique Beyblades to own, especially like Quetz. and stuff.
Okay , Since Kai - V told me to "downgrade" my Basalt horogium to Stamina .. What i did is i replaced its clear wheel and its spintrack and aswell the tip, Now its Basalt Virgo B : D .. Is that a good combo or not?
I would have tried Basalt 230 or 145, since I think B:D is not optimal with it, but it is definitely more of a Stamina type now.
okay i'll try it with 145 , i really wish i have more beys that is NOT outclassed . But a question What tip should i use best?
For Stamina, it is usually WD, SD or D.
